Regards.
Do you play with automated project management or are you developing completely manually? If you could send me your savegame I can look if I find anything strange.
I just uploaded the update, so you should be fine with starting a new game.
I looked for other problems like this, but couldn't found anything special. Games and Cases are sold normally, I suggest you to start a few saves and see if something similiar is occuring?
The problem for me is that it tells me I need a cooler but when I go to select one under dependencies it's a blank list. Does the cooler need to be more advanced than a passive cooler? I only ask because according to the mod description processors unlock in 1970.
Thanks in advance! :)
I fixed that and uploaded it some minutes ago. If there is anything else you know what to do ;)
Graphic cards in the form we know only came up since 1995-1997. The cooler was then developed and not necessarily before. The circuits etc. are also dated at 1997 because of this.
I'm currentlyworking on "Build Device," category "Computer." It says in the description that it will require an estimated 5 code units but when under development I only see art listed as being in progress. Likewise, when I do a review it only lists hardware and system art.
Edit: Maybe should have held off on the bug report till I went a little further in game, but when I do another peer review the score is excellent despite no code work being done. Looks like perhaps just a description error?
I made 2 screenshots according to your explanation, but a) I had no code units displayed in creating the hardware ( Screenshot 1 ) and b) the review itself showed also to be correct ( Screenshot 2 ).
Actually there are only 2 possibilities for developing in the game. One is code and the other is art unit. Therefore I had hardware engineering and everything else not fitting in code unit, packed in “Art”. This explains, why you have no code unit to work at and only art, since it is fully intended in this case.
Could you post a screenshot, maybe I find anything suspicious?
The code units seem to pop up when more than one operating system is selected. So, with only one there is no code required ( Screenshot 1 ), with two operating systems there is 1 code unit listed as required ( Screenshot 2 ), with three operating systems there is 2 code units required ( Screenshot 3 ), etc.
However, in the peer review this code does not appear and, likewise, I can release the product without any code and not have it effect the quality. So, it appears to simply be a minor description bug, not anything that really effects gameplay.
So, ultimately, probably nothing worth bothering you about. ;)
This must be a bug/glitch from the game itself, since I don't know how to influence this behaviour. Only thing I could try is to mix some code units in it from the features, but that would not be in accordance with the mod as intended, hmm.
I will keep this in mind for future releases and test a few things and see, if it happens again.
Thanks for finding this and informing me :)
