Hi,

There's two simple ways to launch the mod once you've pressed the subscribe button :

OPTION 1 :
1) Launch Forces of Corruption.
2) In the main menu, go to options, mods
3) Select the mod you want
4) click enable
5) the game will close and restart with the mod enabled.

OPTION 2 :
1) Go to your library
2) Right click on EaW, go to properties
3) under the general tab, click onthe "set lauch options"
4) put one of these launch codes in :
Modpath=..\..\..\workshop\content\32470\1156943126
OR
STEAMMOD=1156943126
5) click ok, launch Foc
6) The game will load UGC CE at each reboot, meaning you will have to change / delete the launch code if you want to use another mod.

Indeed very helpful thank you very much for the info. Now I noticed last night when I checked after subscribing, I didn't see any mods in the mod section of the game. Does subscribing automatically download it, or was there a button to click, that for some reason didn't show up on my screen?

Actually, shortly after Iposted my last comment, Steam updated, and then I found the mod sitting in the mod section of the game. Thanks again for all the help, now to enjoy the game :)

Steam has the bad habit to not immediatly download mods. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Not sure if there's a reliable way of fixing that unfortunately.

Fitting title for this question; But do you have any plans on releasing this wondrous mod outside Steam Workshop? (Still have my very old CD copy lol) And I can't download this mod

It's not planned yet but not impossible. Perhaps after the next update I'll consider it.

Man I can't figure out why it is not working for me... I have Empire at War Gold Pack installed. I've set the launch options to each and get the following results:

Set launch option to: "STEAMMOD=1156943126"
Result: Nothing happens. Normal game launches. I check the Mods section in-game and do not see this mod listed.

Set launch option to: "Modpath=..\..\..\workshop\content\32470\1156943126"
Result: It looks like the mod is actually loading, because i'll see the different load screen. But then the game crashes before I'm able to get to the in-game menu.

Edit: Also tried Set launch option to: "Modpath=D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\32470\1156943126"
Result: Nothing happens. Normal game launches. I check the Mods section in-game and do not see this mod listed.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

- Make sure you're launching FoC
- Unsub, resub to the mod
- Verify integrity of game cache
- Reinstalling the game can also help
- If none worked, a version of the mod is available on Moddb so you can also try this.

That may be caused by too many savegames, have you tried deleting some?

it don´t work. but when i start the game at admin, than i can save the game but than i can´t use the mod or is it possible to start the game in steam with adminrights?

Could be possible via creating a shortcut to the game exec and setting a command line in the shortcut options, and then run this shortcut as admin... I don't know how to do it exactly though...
