This is a custom version of the Ultimate Galactic Conquest mod made by Gutang many years ago.

It fixes some bugs and add a few things :
  • 142 planets in total are available in various Galactic Conquest sets.
  • GC Maps no longer have the Consortium in them, unless you're playing them !
  • But hey, want to play the original GC maps anyway ? No problem, they're here as well !
  • Consortium has no AI, starts with 1 unit on Hypori. (Except on the original maps).
  • Added new soundtracks from other Star Wars movies / series and ONLY from Star Wars.
  • 4 hours and a half of custom music tracks.
  • Contain maps I've done ! :D I might change few things in the mod package in future updates.
  • Contain maps RadicalEdward2 has done specially for the mod !
  • New loading screen and menu overlay, as well as a new menu space battle.
  • Unit cap has been increased.
  • Ships are rescaled and a bit modified.
  • Added garrison for certain rebel ships.
  • Few balance adjustements.
  • Some locked base game units have been unlocked.
  • Improved AI. All factions have working AI in GC, depending on which GC set you're playing.
  • Multiplayer GC !
  • New UI colour, most of the things are blue again !
  • A few graphical and visual enhancements !
  • The Black Sun Pirates are now playable. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but fun. (It's mostly fixed now.)
  • Made with love for this awesome game !

Please note that this mod is optimized for 1080p or superior resolutions. It is also recommended to run the game in maximum graphics and with shaders and water to the maximum detail level.
I strongly recommend to play the mod's GCs on hard difficulty, as I tweaked this difficulty only.Other difficulties AI might have erratic behaviour. Skirmish difficulty is mostly untouched.

Please, let me know if there's any bug or if you have any request.
If gutang want this mod removed, so be it.
Do not re-upload without authorization.

As most of the UGC V1.0 files present in my mod are modified by myself, I do not authorize you to use them to plug UGC into your mod, use the classic UGC V1.0 (Available on Moddb) instead. PM me if you want to use UGC CE content for your mod. As I don't accept random friend requests on Steam, the best way to do it is via joining the discord server of the mod.

You're saying this mod can be played in MP? You mean skirmishes or galactic conquest?

spaxspore: Well the issue with starting at tech level 1 is precisely that the opposing AI will have a ton of money, unit space and time to mass produce low-level units, while also needing to wait a long time to progress through the tech levels. There isn't really a way to fix this on your end, and I personnaly never succeeded at improving the AI that much. A couple of people have helped me throughout the years and brought some small adjustments, but the AI spamming basic units (either at low tech level or in easy difficulty) is something we never managed to fix efficiently.
Playing in hard will give the AI more means to cheat its way to a higher tech level, so it can mitigate the issue a bit. Also keep in mind that the rebels needs to use the steal tech ability to level up, so there also is the respawn cooldown of C3P0 that makes the process even longer.

love the mod so far, but the issue I can't figure out is the AI only builds Corvettes and starfighters and thats all they make. I like to start at TECH 1 start as the empire one planet start. I literally had a battle with 45 corrvettes and 96 x-wings. I have tried on MED and recommendeded hard setting does'nt seem to matter. Am I doing something wrong?

So i tested both "LAGFEST"-Options and the Consortium just stands there doing nothing. Hutts and Black Sun, Rebels and Empire all do stuff. But Consortium just sits there, which is a bit sad :(

alexusher_92 : Hi, if you choose the "LAGFEST" conquest map, the consortium should have an IA, along with some other factions :-)

Hi, i really like this mod. But, i also always liked the 3 faction conquest. Is there any way, to make this mod work for it to contain a working consortium AI? I really would love this.

Alexsolid5 : Hi, corrupted save game files are really hard to track down and troubleshoot. If you didn't save during a battle (which is known to cause issues), then it might also be bad luck. It is a good idea to have two or three parallel saves for your playthrough and you overwrite them in turns so if you have an issue you can rollback to the last save and hopefully not have the problem anymore.

If you manage to replicate steadily the issue, please tell me about it so I can try on my end, thanks!

Hello, I was recently playing this mod, which I love and think is one of the best, and I had it updated, so I started a new campaign. Everything was going well, but suddenly, out of nowhere, the same thing happened to me as Marcin mentioned from what I’ve read—I tried to load the save and the game crashed.

I’m not bothered about losing the save, but of course, I don’t know if this will keep happening because I’d like to do a long campaign and so on.

Just in case it helps, the same thing happened to me as the guy who commented here, Marcin, that is, I saved the game under normal circumstances.

If you know anything about this, I’d really appreciate it, and thanks for replying and supporting this amazing mod! Keep it up!
