@Verlepte Henk could you, please, post a screenshot? Also, what graphic settings and what other mods are you using?

its all bright pink, everywhere... pretty sure it isnt supposed to be... have other mods enabled, no other skybox type things though, first time trying this mod, loaded and unloaded the mod (within game).. Not tried any other skybox mods so may be missing something obvious!

@tom please, post a screenshot and a list of other mods you are using. I need to see which exact areas are pink. Also, are you using ny mods that are not in steam, but in your own local folders?

@Dr. Novikov thanks for your response, nearly added a screenshot but its just very pink so wasnt sure it was needed :) i'll stick one up in a moment. ship, asteroids and sun seem ok, everything else pink. i dont think i have mods anywhere other than steam, all subscribed through steam and i cant see anything elsewhere at first look. list of mods is long because im mid ship build and keeping my options open! I guess probably worth me removing them and adding 1 by 1 to see when it breaks but if any have known issues you can save me some work!

@tom this looks like there was a problem loading the big skybox texture. What is your video card, and how much video RAM does it have?

Here is what you need to do in order to exclude some of potential causes:

1. Create a new world with ony my mod enabled. Load it and see if the sky is pink. If it is not, than the mod file has been downloaded properly, and the problem is somewhere else.

2. If the previous step shows you the pink sky again, try deleting the loaded file named 1136188499.sbm in your mods folder. It is usually something like this: c:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Mods\. Then reload the clean world (with my mod only). This should redownload the mod.

3. If the clean world with my mod only still shows the pink skybox, remove my mod, and instead try loading the skybox only: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=670718659 it is the same skybox, same resolution. This mod looks fantastic but I can't seem to get it working. I have subscribed to it in the workshop, but nothing seems to change in game. I have loaded old saves and started new worlds but "dark" areas look as bright as ever and the sky box is the standard very colorful one. I tried reinstalling the game as I've had it for a very long time, but it made no difference. Perhaps tomorrow I'll try wiping out all my data and settings if I can find some instructions for this.

Edit to say I did not know about adding mods to a saved game. I was looking all over for something like that but I couldn't find it until I knew what I was looking for. Perhaps a short installation instruction in the mod description would help poor suckers like me. This is the first time I've had to modify a saved game with a mod, previously I have only used blueprints and scripts.

@Motorhead. Do not wipe anything yet. You need to subscribe, and then to add the mod to the game world. No mods are applied automatically just by subscribing to them. Do you know how to add mods to the savegame?

I also have the pink sky bug. Not sure if I can post a screenshot in the comments, but there are two I uploaded to my profile. I started a new game with only Space Just Got real enabled, using the Crashed Red Ship start. The ENTIRE SKY is pink. My graphics settings are all on the highest, I'll go test them at different settings.

I tried switching around a bunch of graphics settings, going from all-high to all-low (I just switched them all at once after a while) and there was no change in the sky.

Thanks, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a 1136188499.sbm anywhere in my steamapps folder. I'll try to find another way to re-download the mod.

I'm using the insane resolution Mliky Way mod now, and that one works!

@Screeching Marmot the mod file is not in steamapps, it is in the mods directory. Try deleting it and see if the redownloaded mod works.
