Normal CIS AI spamming "OP" Units
A vast majority of my land battles consist of the AI spamming their artillery. And it works. There's no counter at all early game, and no real counter to it besides a counter artillery spam or gunships later on. It saps all fun out of many land battles.

As for space battles, Im faced with a band of 14 Lucerhulks roaming around destorying every space level 4 and 5 space station I have, so again, the spam strategy works. They produce an obscene amount of fighters and they themselves are fairly strong in combat (especially with their two concussion missile launchers)

I had to abdondon my campaign because of the complete lack of fun due to these two problems. For suggestions, The artillery NEEDS to either do less damage, or be less accurate. A single hit nearly always kills a unit. Perhaps the Lucerhulk's cost could also be increased, as there's nothing to stop a fleet of them from steamrolling the early republic with the few Venators we're given.

CIS are better in space but suck at land so try rushing them and yeah ai spamming is a ♥♥♥♥♥ sometimes

BARC speeders are good against artillery. EaW/FoC MPTLs are essentially the same thing. And AT-RTs are pretty fast if they keep moving.

yeah it works untill there's actually 20 artillery units spread around the map, and even then, if it worked better its absolutely no fun to deal with constantly
ATRTs are really powerful and rushing them at the enemy has never failed for me. and by rush i mean winged hussar levels of cavalry spam
