There are still a lot of complaints about the AI not doing anything and that going through the fix in the Mod description doesn't work. Here is the method that worked for me and a few others.

Delete your Forces of Corruption 'data' folder - D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Data - then get Steam to 'Verify Integrity of Game Files’ and Steam will redownload the base game files. Do this by going into your Steam library, right clicking on the game, clicking properties at the bottom. Go to the ‘Local Files’ tab and click ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’.

This will remove any leftover modified data in the base game files that might be conflicting with the new Republic At War files and will force patch Forces of Corruption. Once the base game files have been downloaded you should be able to just load Forces, and then load up Republic At War and it should work fine.

Hope this helps those of you who still haven’t managed to get Republic At War to work yet!

P.S. I also see a lot of people also finding the mod quite hard (especially as the Republic), even on Easy mode. Is there any interest in a fairly basic but comprehensive guide on how to play as the Republic?
