STAR WARS™ Empire at War: Gold Pack

STAR WARS™ Empire at War: Gold Pack

Republic at War
Fix the bloody AI!
Can anyone answer how to fix the AI so that its not frozen and doent do anything. Some people are complaing about this and when we try to go and fix it the answer we are given is patch forces of corruption. It deson't explain how to do that or how to fix the bloody AI. If anyone can answer this and give a detail explanation on how to fix the AI or get in contact with the creator of the mod We'd all be truly grateful.

The fix that worked for me was to delete my Forces of corruption 'Data' file - D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Data - then get steam to verify the game files. Steam then redownloads the missing files. This should clear out any leftover data from any mods to the base game files. Once the base files have been redownloaded just launch FoC and load up RaW as usual. That fixed the problem for me, hope it works for you as well!

how does steam verify the game files?

Talked to you in previous threads Limy. We're both having similiar issues with the launcher. However, I ended up just using the "STEAMMOD=1129810972" method and the mod launched just fine. The AI seems to be working as it's attacking me constantly. No way to verify if the AI is completely fine given the installer issues, but it seems to be working for me. Is the AI just not attacking you at all?

ya the AI doesn't do a thing. I let the game run for about an hour and it was day 80 nothing the AI hadnt built any ships or units

So not attacking you at all *and* not building anything?

Jeez that's a headache. Not sure what to tell you at this point. I just did a reinstall of FoC and the mod, then just launched it via the "STEAMMOD=1129810972" method. Didn't even put the launcher in. AI seems to be working. Would try doing that.

Thank you. I'll try that and see if it works

how did you get steam to verify the files?

Go into proeperties through steam, go into local files and at the bottom there will be a thing called, verify local files. Hope that helps
