I have the same issue, except that I ALSO wound up taking the planet by accident meaning that I can't actually dothe mission anymore.

I couldn't do it and I sent a force to weaken them but I ended up taking the planet. Don't take the planet unless it is just Kenobi, otherwise you can't do the mission anymore and you'll have to restart.
