Stat scaling works differently than how you are envisioning. It increases the stat in question like so: stat ^ (1 + (0.05 * scaling)). So Samurai having 2x Dex scaling means that it adds 0.1, so: Dex ^ (1.1 + (0.05 * other_scaling_factors)).
