Axis entity not found?
addon is permanently broken and fails to work in any capacity for me, attempted reinstall, failed to fix the problem as did remounting. disabling addons also failed. i have no idea how to fix this. the only thing i can think of is a file that is somehow conflicting and permanently mounted due to a bug, or some sort of patch for this addon caused it to break.
the title is referring to the console text when i try to use the tool which is: "Axis entity isn't found. Spawning new one, try selecting the entity again."

you did happen to check if the problem persists without any other addons enabled?

do you also happen to use source's saves, not gmod's, if problem happens when you load some save?

ill check if disabling addons has an effect.
EDIT: no effect, still broken.

when exactly does the error occur? when you load into a map when starting a new game?

in the current matter an important bit to know would be if you're loading some source save which are done through developer console, or just starting a game through new game option in menu/loading gmod's save, through main menu too

i havent loaded any saves (source or gmod) and it happens when i start a new game.

and it keeps printing that when you click on the ragdoll? generally it should've done that once and then spawn axis

it only prints this once in chat/console, but thats the only error message i get so i dont know what else is causing this.

if it was a persistent error it would've kept printing it again and again when you were clicking on a ragdoll. gizmos don't appear when you click on it afterwards, right?

nope, what should be there isn't. eg: gizmos xyz discs.

some other people had issue like that too, although i don't think i've had anyone report about the axis entity not found message yet. unsure why these happen, seems to mostly appear for certain people, and i didn't happen to reproduce these issues yet to understand what's the cause exactly

just in case, when you start a new game, you're going in singleplayer mode, or you start a local server? don't know if that would really make any difference though

okay so it turns out im a bit tired today and accidentally set the UI scale to 0 (the reason i couldnt see it) so problem solved :)

ah, nice. was the UI scale a game setting, or one in ragdoll mover's menu?
