The known way for (ragdoll physics) bone positions to mess up is if one changes a physics model between saves. It happens with any ragdoll (not just a TF2 ragdoll with improved physics override)

Try narrowing down the addon that changes the physics of your ragdolls

You rebind it in two ways:

1. In Ragdoll Mover's C menu, on the Misc. tab, there are two big buttons below tool update rate: one for Rotate toggle and one for Scale toggle. Click on the button for Rotate toggle to rebind it
2. Set it in the console via `ragdollmover_rotatebutton [NUMBER]`, where [NUMBER] (1, 4, 98, etc.) represents the key you want to bind it to. See this table [wiki.facepunch.com] for a list of valid key numbers

Does rebinding the rotate toggle button make the rotation discs show up? Sometimes, the default middle mouse button gets worn out, and I had to rebind it to a different key for the discs to properly show up

Rotation option doesn't work on ragdolls or props anymore. Doesnt even show up as an option, it's like it's disapeared. Only ones that work are the mover and scaler ones.

@Water Galboros Can you run the following command in your console?
`lua_run PrintTable(hook.GetTable().PlayerSpawn)`
Copy and paste the blue text that shows up in your console into your comment when you reply. This'll help me intuit a potential addon conflict here

(To open the console, first load into a map and press the ~ button)

the rotation thing is still there, you just have to press middle mouse wheel. my problem is that it doesnt work half the time, you click a ragdoll and it some times refuses to work.

So every time I try using the ragdoll mover it works the first time but for some reason when I wanna use it again I try clicking on the bone I want to do the rotate thing doesn’t wanna show

The only way that can happen is if the physics model of the ragdoll changes between the time when you saved the dupe and when you load it in now. For example, loading an old dupe of TF2 models with a different TF2 physics addon will result in messed up posing. Ragdoll Mover shouldn’t do anything to ragdoll poses. If something’s happening, let us know how we can reproduce it

i kinda believe that recently somehow ragdolls, posed with this addon, breaks in dupes, like, they take the weird, VERY weird pose and i can't describe it.

The ragdoll mover is having a problem with the stand pose. Whenever I apply stand pose to a ragdoll, their left hand gets stuck in place and using the mover drags the hand backwards.

the tool is meant to be in the posing tab in the tools menu, if it's not there at all, then it may be some issue with addon mounting. i recall that disabling other addons can help to make "invisible" addons show up

There is already support for effects. You have to go to the bottom of the UI in the C menu, and find the Entity Children section, and then select the desired model from there, under “watermelon.mdl.” See 31:56 of the tutorial video for more info on it

Could you make support for effects? (like if an effect has bones, you can use this tool to move them instead of needing to use the adv bone tool, which can take some time depending on the effect)

Hey all. If you had an issue with Ragdoll Mover not working because you removed/undo’d an entity while moving it, we narrowed down the issue to some incorrect logic on our side. Please test out the fix here if you are able!

using some ragdoll breaker tools is also an option, but those will totally break connections between bones, so ragdolls will fall apart in a funny way when unfrozen

If you have the arrow gizmos, you can only move the pelvis because it isn't parented to another physics bone ( check the Bone List in the C Menu and notice that the pelvis bone is not located underneath another bone with a "Brick" icon ). On the other hand, physics bones that are parented to another physics bone (e.g. the bip_spine_0 is parented to bip_pelvis) cannot be moved. You can only rotate them using the disc gizmos.

If you want to move them around with the arrow gizmos, use the Ragdoll Stretch and Ragdoll Weight tools

i am curious, did the issue happen and then stop happening on the same map? were you loading into it through creating a new game or loading a save? would be nice to know on what map it did happen, as perhaps issue could be still reproduced to find out how that happens, so it won't appear again

We've seen this happen on maps with lots of entities (our test map was gm_wangan). What map are you testing it on? And does it happen on just the specific map, or does it happen on any map (like gm_construct)?

To also help with debugging, could you report any lua errors that may have shown up from the Problems menu on the bottom right of the pause screen (just "Copy to clipboard" the lua error and paste it into a comment or in a discussion page)? We've also come across a similar selection issue when other addons error, so this would be valuable

I am having a problem: I am unable to select the ragdoll with the mover at all. The joint selections are still visible, but I am unable to right or left click them.
