The generator has a power bar on a screen. It goes up when it gets leveled up. The generator will show a team colored wire if it is near a camera station.
That is my idea of what it could do. Even if the item doesn't get these stats. I'm still sticking with them. I wish for this item to change the engineer in a big way. Like how the gunslinger can change the engineer into a battle engineer, this item can change the engineer into a security engineer. The gunslinger makes the engineer an offensive class. This item might change the engineer into a different kind of defensive class.
Replaces the teleporters with a camera and screen
The camera will automatically follow the most dangerous enemy and highlight it, showing its outline through walls to the rest of the team. The engineer that built it can see the camera's view in the top right of the screen. And other teammates can see the camera's pov through the large screen that replaces the exit.
It would make a welcome addition to any Multi-Engineer Nest, I'd imagine.
Pro's
+Can Place cameras, on wall and floors
+Cameras Detect invis' Spys if the spys are standing still and are in the radious of the camera, and other classes, Outlining them for the allys to see
+If the enemys stay in the radious of the camera for too long, they take minicrits
Makes A Camera station that replaces the sentry slot, can use the station if you click middlemouse from anywhere in the map
Con's
-Can not build sentrys
-You can't do anything while Switching through the cameras
-Small camera Range
The PDA can also outline Enemys, but if you do that they won't take minicrits
Edit: wow, my stat idea was incredibly overpowered. here's a better one:
slot: PDA or secondary
cons:
-buildings are less durable and efficient (build the same, but shoot, dispense, or recharge slower)
-slowly drains metal while active
Pros
-can detect cloaked/disguised spies, may possibly also have x-ray capabilities, but with a limited range.
+building comeback as scrap beasts, these beasts can track down enemies, move around, and fuse with other buildings, and attack-dispensers and teleporters included
+sentries can now walk around
+dispensers now take ammo from enemy spies
+teleporters can now grant 1 second of invisibility
-buildings deploy 25% slower
-10% damage
- 5 second fusion time
- takes 25 more metal to upgrade
