Food Rot Info

Descrizione
Change border color of food as it rots. Display time remaining until expiry.


Colour Key

White
< 5 Minutes

Yellow
< 30 Minutes

Green
< 1 Hour

Blue
< 3 Hours

Purple
> 3 Hours


Note: Food rot information updates around every 10 seconds, so you might not see the extra information immediately.

Q: "Is this mod client-side?"

A: It is client-side, but if you give your food to someone that doesn't have the mod, they might see some of the old rot info, but it won't update as long as they're holding it.

Okay so I uninstalled this and all of a sudden a movement mod I have just skyrockets me any time I use rocket jump.

Thx @Count Orlok ...i had this problem. There is always a manual mod folder instalation with priority in meta to be ajusted.

If you use both Food Rot Info and Improved Food Descriptions and the food keeps a white border:
This seems to be caused by the sequence these mods are loaded by Starbound.
It works for me, if Food Rot Info is loaded after Improved Food Descriptions :
- Unsubscribe both Food Rot Info and Improved Food Descriptions
- Resubscribe to Improved Food Descriptions
- Wait until the mod was downloaded by Steam
- Resubscrybe to Food Rot Info

(This post replaces a previous one with a less reliable method to manipulate the mod load order. If there is a better way to do so, I would like to hear about it.)

Something went wrong with the colours for me after the update. For example, a product will be safe for more than 2 hours, but it's white. Though the time info is still correct. So, it's still very useful, but it's also quite uncomfortable at the same time :reonion:

Tested it myself. Unfortunately, this mod has no affect on StarChef Redux. Real shame.
