Expanded Magnorbs

An expanded and enhanced series of magnorbs.

Welcome to Expanded Magnorbs 2.0. This update has significantly improved on 1.2 in every way, with new magnorbs, sprites, effects, abilities, and 160+ new sounds. The crafting progression has been changed to fit better into the natural progression of the game, and all the sets have been balanced to suit.

This mod currently adds 19 new sets of magnorbs. You can craft your first set before even reaching the outpost. To begin, craft the Lodestone Stand at your inventors table. The Lodestone Stand has two upgrades later in the game, like the anvil. Most recipes are known immediately. The tier 6 sets are learned from the tier 5 sets. The Unstable and Phasic recipes are learned by picking up core fragments and phase matter. The Asuteru Obu can be found in rainbow biome chests or learned by picking up an Asuteru Saberu DX.

Most sets have shields as their alternate ability, with higher orb counts providing more protection. The Phasic and Unstable sets have special abilities - Phase Shift and Unstable Ward, respectively. In the future, shields may have unique effects to make them more interesting, as well as new abilities entirely.
