Sorry, @whoshotdk
I completely forgot about my promise from yesterday.
This should work again, though.
Game Launcher, Dev Tab, Unpack Game to someplace.
In game, Addons menu, Create New Addon of type Modification.
Click open folder when it asks, navigate to scripts folder.
Create folder structure (next to readme.txt):
./entities/controllers/takemetomars/buildingblocks/power/
Copy power_mmrtg.h and power_solararray.h to that folder from the same folder in the game files you unpacked.
Edit the number after POWER_MAXOUTPUT_WATTS near the top of each file to your desired value.
Save, enable the addon in game.
Profit.

Thanks to nowlookatthat for creating this in the first place.
Re-creating the mod with the latest files and making the relevant changes kind of works for me - the MMRTGs work again but I cannot seem to get them to increase their output yet. Having said that my experience with modding this game is about two hours, so i'll keep at it and post anything helpful for @nowlookatthat here, if I can.
