Vanilla Foods Expanded

描述



Vanilla Foods Expanded adds over 1500 new foods, recipes and evolved recipes that are similar in style and use to base game. You can find:
  • Canned foods, such as meats, vegetables, fruits, soup, stew and bait
  • Jars and new canning recipes
  • Herbs, spices and seasonings
  • Sauces, relishes and dressings
  • Pantry staples, snacks and breakfast foods
  • Desserts, such as cake mixes and pudding
  • Fresh fruit and vegetables
  • Fresh meat and seafood
  • Fridge and freezer foods
  • Beverages
  • New recipes and evolved recipes
Vanilla spawn rates remain the same, there won’t be an overwhelming amount of food in the world, just a lot more variety. 3D models have been created for every item.


  • Discover thousands of new items across every imaginable category, all carefully designed to be similar in style to base game and lore-friendly
  • Everything comes in multiple flavors and varieties
  • Find recipe books scattered throughout your world that unlock new cooking possibilities, letting you create authentic, home cooked meals
  • Pour it into a bowl, or make it into a plate - a lot of recipes can be dished up into individual servings
  • Baking! Start with convenient box mixes for a quick and tasty treat, then progress to learning recipes that allow you to bake everything from scratch
  • Craft new evolved recipes, including casseroles, curry, lasagna, loaded baked potatoes, nachos, chili, ramen, milkshakes, fried rice and dozens more!
  • Season your creations with an extensive collection of herbs, spices and seasoning blends, to perfect every dish
  • Craft countless homemade versions of common items and base game items

Hey, I love the mod but I havent played with it yet. I was wondering how is the calories in general because I spent hours manually changing calories to realistic values so I didnt have to eat 20 cabbages a day to survive... So, how are the calories in general? XD

LONGER expiration time! (if you have the time) maybe make it a drop down "very fast, fast, normal, etc. i feel like food spoils to fast in pz even in the fridge but im sure whatever you cook up will be great. btw i LOVE mods with world models :steamthis:

@Nabissimo - thank you, that's really lovely :luv: as for tea, you make an evolved beverage and use it in that! just like vanilla ~ so you start with a teacup or mug of water, heat it up and right-click to add your tea and other ingredients, like herbs, sugar or even alcohol :spiffo:

This mod is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!
One small thing I found , and I think it's a vanilla problem as I think it's a vanilla item ,is the inability to make tea from tea packets. I might be missing something though, I only started getting into cooking once I downloaded this mod

But could you implement the boxing and packing of the canned food? Even with the "box more" mod I can't do it.

Hey guys! I've fixed up not being able to open bags/boxes of frozen food while frozen - bit of an oversight on my behalf.
