  • Baking! Start with convenient box mixes for a quick and tasty treat, then progress to learning recipes that allow you to bake everything from scratch
  • Craft new evolved recipes, including casseroles, curry, lasagna, loaded baked potatoes, nachos, chili, ramen, milkshakes, fried rice and dozens more!
  • Season your creations with an extensive collection of herbs, spices and seasoning blends, to perfect every dish

With thousands of items added, it's impossible to detail everything in just a description. So just load in, and start exploring for yourself. Or check out the wiki, it's a complete guide on everything added to Vanilla Foods Expanded, upcoming changes I'm currently working on, and more!

Vanilla Foods Expanded is an ever-growing project, and while there are thousands of items already, our plans haven't stopped here. If you have anything you'd like to see added, check out the discussions and let us know!

French thanks to Aatheom!

Simplified Chinese thanks to 源点!

A very special thank you goes out to Aatheom, whose invaluable contributions helped bring this project to life. From creating models, timed actions, detailed hand props, French translation and so much more - his dedication and expertise made this possible. It is as much his creation, as it is my own.

A further thank you is extended to the whole of the modding community, who have supported this entire journey. What began as a small project years ago, has grown into something far beyond what I imagined, thanks to their advice, support and encouragement.

@McDouble - you need a saucepan or pot that's filled with water, you'll then need to open up the crafting menu, find the recipe 'Prepare Cooking Pot of Pasta', craft it - that'll give you a saucepan/pot of the tortellini (uncooked), you can then use a heat source to cook it. :spiffo:

I've tried just eating it on it's own or in a bowl, still no luck. I'm sure it's just me missing something, but I can't even get it to start cooking in an oven, it just gets hot

I saw a lot of recipes use Bacon. I haven't played in a couple of patches so this might be base game, but does your mod allow for making bacon?

@McDouble - I haven't added the ability for it to be added to evolved recipes, like stew or soup. Right now, it's just prepared and on it's own and can be served in a bowl, but I can look into it :spiffo:

I'm sure I'm missing something, but I just can't get the Three Cheese Ravioli to work. I know it should work like pasta but even with a pot with hot water, there's just no option to make or use ravioli in the "Create Stew", "Create Soup", etc. options or anywhere else. Other than that, amazing mod!
