The mod adds a variety of social interactions and opportunities for the United Cities faction, including the ability to become a full-fledged noble, new alliance and tax systems, new mercenaries, and much more.

1) Taxes and Alliances

In the Allied Cities, money is everything. Judging by the dialogue of your characters and bar patrons, taxes in the Empire are unbearable. But then the tax inspector comes and demands three thousand cat from you, which can easily be collected in half a day by mining copper. I decided to fix this. Now life in the Empire is difficult, but interesting.
The taxes collected by the UC and TG have been increased and depend on certain factors. The alliance with the Trade' Guild now costs 200 thousand.
An alliance with the UC for money is still possible, but it has become a little more expensive. For such an alliance, you become a citizen. But to become a noble, you need to pass the necessary tests and comply with the conditions.

The taxes collected by the UC and TG have been increased and depend on certain factors. An alliance with the Merchants' Guild now costs 200,000.

2) Noble Life

A samurai who does not dream of becoming a nobleman is a poor samurai. Now you too can become one. The path to this will not be easy, but believe me, it is worth it. You will have access to many opportunities, and the attitude of those around you will change.

To become a nobleman, you must fulfil four conditions. Collect the necessary amount to pay tribute to the Emperor, build a decent city on the lands of the empire, and obtain the approval of the inner circle of nobles. Each of the four nobles has their own character, which is worth considering.

So, you are now a nobleman. What next? Next come taxes. Only now, they will be paid to you. You can now levy taxes on every caravan that passes through your city. Slave traders who capture people on your lands will also be taxed.
Taxes depend on your settlement. The larger the settlement, the more taxes you will receive.

By becoming a nobleman, you become a well-known figure. Peasants and merchants greet you, and nobles invite you
to play dice with them. Now you can order any samurai unit to follow you for three days. (For ordinary citizens, there is still a random follow event, but only for one day).

3) Innovations of the big city
What about cities? Now they are noisy, lively places with many opportunities.

Mercenaries

As in the previous SN mode, mercenaries have become more expensive (which is logical), but also stronger. Everything is within reason.
A new group of mercenaries, the Desert Princes, has also been added. They are loud, arrogant, and boastful bastards and petty
nobles, but they are excellent marksmen. They will only work for a wealthy client or in the service of a nobleman.
The Informant
In the city, you can meet a talkative group led by the Informant. He knows a lot of things
he shouldn't know. Your personal ears on the city streets. For a reasonable fee, of course.

Herald

As in the previous HN mod (I recommend downloading it), the Herald is an authorised person who informs citizens about news, the deaths of the powerful, advertisements for local shops, and much more.

Slaves
A colourful slave trader has appeared in one of the desert cities, selling unusual slaves. They are expensive, but they have the right skills. I recommend looking for him. Also, the southern slave market has an increased chance of southern drones appearing.

Gambling

Two gambling games have been added: Catch the Skimmer and Dice.
Catch the Skimmer is a game for commoners that can be played in a bar. The stakes are small.
Dice is an exclusively aristocratic game with high stakes.

4) Smuggler Hunters
Smuggling is still profitable, but it's way more dangerous. The Empire's laws are harsh, but not always fair.

Sinsengumi smuggler hunters have been added to the Eye area and every city. These harsh police officers search all travellers if they suspect something is amiss. I advise you not to ignore their demands, even if you are allied with the SG.

Haggling merchants
If you don't want to go to the swamps for something illegal, you can find groups of grey smugglers in the Grey Desert. They don't have much merchandise, but you can buy it.

And much, much more, try to discover it for yourself!

Spiderfilms I think so, because I didn't change the cities in this mod

Is this compatible with City Architecture Overhaul (CATO)? This question also extends to your holy nation one too. Thanks in advance. Great mod btw.

Hi! I was arrested by the Smuggler Hunter and he said I have Hashish on me but i have no inventory. So did he actually plant it on me like the like said or was this a glitch?

I gave it a try in the HN cities (with the other mod) combining Reactive World + Holy Nation Expanded + RW Patch for it plus this one and so far I haven't seen any issue, I see your NPC's spawn, I also see the RW Inquisitors, plus the city layout for the other mod. Lovely!

PepperCat I have specifically separated Urbanism and Social for greater convenience. So I repeat, I think everything will be fine.

Yeah, he remade cities, which would be like the Urbanism+, do you think that Social Lives (Western Hive, UC and HN) doesn't overlap in features? I was for a moment thinking that maybe this would add any change to the cities. Only dialogs and NPC's then?

PepperCat As far as I can remember, Master Steve remade cities in his mods, so I don't think there should be a problem, since my Social Live mod line only adds dialogues and a few new units. So I think everything will work out.
