As for the EMI field disabling the gravship, the consoles and engines need power to work. Perhaps the mod could scan and see if any EMI shielding mods are present. You would think an inherent danger of using a gravship would be the EMI dynamo event, but perhaps it can be toggled on and off in the mod.
nothing gamebreaking, just insanely easy to farm wealth (if you want to exploit) or just have a good armour in general for a really low cost
Regular pilot console: 4 thrusters, no problem.
Small and Mini pilot consoles: Game freeze.
So I guess it's something to do with the pilot console, then.
Then I went back, loaded this version instead of Lite, and did the same test. This time, however, it worked. Perhaps there's something specific about the wiring connections that my actual save didn't manage? Do they need to be wired straight into them like pipes?
* Vanilla or Modular Thrusters? Doesn't matter.
* Three small and one extra large thruster? Fine.
* Three extra large thrusters? Fine.
* Four extra large thrusters? Fine.
It seems like the issue is with small thrusters specifically, I suppose...?
