Popis
This mod, inspired by "Guns Enhanced," adds new, detailed weapons with unique features and animated reloads. It's fully compatible with Combat Overhaul, Enhanced Armaments, Guns Enhanced, Deep Sea Warfare, and Neurotrauma. Get ready for impactful choices and tactical depth!



Main Features:
  • 🔄 Dynamic Reload Animations: Every gun features fully animated reloads, making the process more realistic.

  • ⚙️ Weapon Degradation System: Weapons lose durability with use. Wear is significantly accelerated in aquatic environments (except for underwater weapons). Weapons left in water will also slowly decay. Repair is available at the Gunsmith Fabricator.

  • 💧 Unique Water Mechanics: Non-underwater weapons lose effectiveness underwater. Choose your gear wisely for aquatic missions!

  • 🎯 Aim with Caution: Weapons do not come with a default reticle; you'll need to aim by feel, relying on instinct and experience. The reticle only appears when a laser sight or optical scope is attached.

  • 🛡️ Armor System Overhaul: This mod reworks all vanilla armors and adds new vests and helmets, making them more essential in combat and critically necessary for survival. Various types of armor plates have been added, and different weapon calibers have different armor penetration values. Tactics and the right choice of equipment are everything!

  • 🚢 Full Campaign Integration: Weapons spawn at NPCs, outposts, and abandoned submarines.

  • 👁️ Realistic Aiming: Aiming narrows peripheral vision (simulating one-eye aiming). The mod also adds a prone position mechanic: hold [CTRL] and press [S] TWO-times to lie down for maximum stability, recoil and spread reduction. Hold [CTRL] and tap [W] to stand up.

  • 💥 Ballistic Trauma Effect: Shot targets experience shaking, blurred vision, and aiming impairment, giving advantage to the attacker. Pain effects are active and require analgesia to treat only when the Neurotrauma mod is enabled.

  • 🎧 Stunning Sound Effects: Firing a weapon without a suppressor or special hearing protection will cause a short-term stunning effect, including a ringing sound and temporary vision impairment.

  • 💣 Animated and Reworked Grenades: Experience detailed grenade animations, including the realistic pin pull. A new grip mechanic has been added: by holding the use key (E), you can pull both the pin and the grip, starting the detonation timer early. If you simply press the key, the grenade will not explode while you are holding it.

  • 🛠️ Weapon Customization System: Customize your weapons with attachments like sights, suppressors, flashlights, and more.

    All keys can be remapped in the LUA folder in the mod's root directory, where detailed instructions are provided.

@MoonShi no problem! The initial development of patches is not known, it all depends on Kapuctik, he is neutral to other mods, adding support for our mod with others will simply add more people who will use Animated Arms in combination with other creator's weapons

@タ hvitstemmetreogtrædve thats a nice informatime ansver ma man, thanks and Kapustic for great mod, hoping for patches for another weapon mods in future, like Deep Sea Warfare. Cuz atm some magz from DSW doesn't automatically puts into bulletproof vest, and also cannot put grenades from DSW BP vest in grenade slot

oh yeah btw I've been inactive for about 20 days because of developing Damage Slider (which I have failed making), but I can roughly understand what changes my friend has made

the system of projectiles and cartridges is very different from other more standard mods created on XML, Kapuctik uses its own methods, which are more optimized for servers in contrast to Combat Overhaul Legacy, recent changes probably did something with the sounds system, such issue is to be researched

my script is based on the logic of a separate addon, which is stand alone (I believe its called Press R To Reload, or something like that) but I used own algorithm architecture, which is several times more optimized

@MoonShi anything that's related to lua scripts personalized and designed for everything, not just guns, lets say flashlights (in theory), It's just looking for items inside player inventory that can be put inside into a specific item

as for the sounds: yes, it's already been reported up, kapuctik is currently doing bug fixes on this issue

@タ hvitstemmetreogtrædve your weapon reload script did affect another weaporny mods, for example basic game weapons or weapons from Deep Sea Warfare. Tested it few mins ago.
There is a sound positioning problem in my baro, sounds from gunshots comes not from gun barrel actually, but from surfaces that bullets hit, any idea what cause that? standart baro weapons and from Deep Sea Warfare doesn't have this problem.
