RimKnights - Oripathy has split into Core and Oripathy for better modularity

RimKnights - Core brings originium from the Arknights universe to RimWorld. This mod adds originium and originium shards though currently there is not much use for the shards other than converting them to chemfuel.

Current Features:
  • Originium - A black, semi-transparent crystal that has the potential to spread across the entire map. Watch out for originium clusters, walking through them risks getting cut up (and developing Oripathy if the mod is installed).
  • Precepts - Will your colonists worship originium and help it spread across the land or do they despise the mere sight of it? How do they feel about mining and destroying originium?
  • Weather - Certain weather conditions carry originium with them, potentially poisoning your colonists and speeding up the spread of originium.
  • Flavor text - Currently, you can reflavor silver, steel, and chemfuel into orundum, oriron, and orifuel if you wanted to.

Future plans:
These may end up being standalone or modular mods
This list is in no particular order

  • Catastrophes (the kind that actually destroy your map)
  • Arknights factions
  • Terran wildlife
  • Terran races
  • Magic and psycasts reflavored as Arts

Check to make sure your precepts don't prohibit originium mining

Only during certain weather events though I should probably limit that to outdoor locations only

I know it’s supposed to spread, but I have to ask; is it supposed to pop up at random inside of buildings? Because I’m currently doing a colony built inside of a mountain and it keeps just sort of… sprouting out of nowhere, pretty much on the opposite side of the map from where any clusters are.

something to note, you can't really use tunneller mechanoids to mine orignium because they don't move away when things start exploding....
there really doesn't seem to be a simple way to get rid of large amounts of the stuff without putting colonists in harms way huh? just hazard gear, which is way down the tech tree

i honestly dont remember what mods it was but if it happens again i will
