Opis
I really wish my mom was here to help me. - Zoey

If anyone finds any issues please *do* report them to me, in comments, discussions, whatever. I don't play this game anymore, and don't have a full care to play-test every single thing. I will not be making anything more, but I will be keeping these updated as much as I can.

To further encourage this, I have hidden the old 2006/2007/2008 versions.

These uploads are intended to be the same thing but better. I do not want people reverting because there's an issue, I want to fix the issue so they can continue using the new version.

A new version of my TRS survivors, with better QC work, updated textures, changed up VMTs, edited viewmodels, more accurate models, and as much original content as I could physically get working without edits.
This time I'm including the source files for anyone to mess with, including as much of the original content I could find and/or export.

The old versions of my ports have a lot of issues, and are honestly very inaccurate. Now this new version still isn't pixel perfect, but I'm not going to make any false claims or extra versions, now you're getting the two base ones, and anything else you can make yourself via the sources.

Includes:
- VGUI
- Viewarms
- The survivors themselves

Credits:

L4D0 - Source file releases

Splinks - Hair textures, jiggle bones, other misc.

Oxxy - QC work, L4D2 ports, texture recreations, model adjustments.

just trying to theorize along with you
part of it, maybe even most of it, is poorly optimized maps
it's probably not fully all on your mods, no worries
crashes for me only happen in combination with your survivors and certain maps

Maybe I screwed up somewhere or didn't compile the VTFs with DXT compression, but even that shouldn't cause all the crashes
Oxxy (Real)  [autor] 20 listopada o 14:01
I don't have a clue what would cause all the crashes, I run all 8 of my B4B survivors that are about 1k-2k and it works fine on 8 player, Idk what's happening with these

i wonder if might also just be a combination of playing on poorly optimized maps
as the crashes will mostly only occur with your survivor models and not others
maybe the game can't even handle at least 2K or it's a mix of multiple things
got a new 1440P 2K monitor, really wanted to enjoy higher quality now
just trying to find a version of these survivors well enough optimized
sorry if i might not be understanding something or confused

my survivors use 2K at max and 1K at the least, it shouldn't be a problem, 2008 has 1k textures, the rest are 2k, but don't have normal maps or anything
McLovin420 20 listopada o 13:42
not sure which one to comment on but it probably applies to all
i am sure many of us appreciate how nice it is having 2K or 4K
however, this contributes to reaching the limits of the engine or at least the game
left 4 dead 2 is still only a 32 bit application, which means a 3gb ram limit if even that
would you be willing to make an alternate version more optimized to prevent crashes?
might also benefit you as far as at least making sure Panda has the latest from you

Oxxy (Real)  [autor] 27 października o 9:35
Go ahead, just link back to whatever you took 'em from

do you plan to release separate versions? if not, do you grant permission to upload them?
