More Character Names

Remade from scratch and like it's previous incarnation will attempt to slowly expand upon all cultures of CK3 by adding the flavour they all deserve with more names for both male & female along with dynasties!

It will frequently be updated with additional names & dynasties for said cultures as I do my research on sources for names and so on while slowly adding other cultures.

Reason for the original being deleted

I thought everything was going perfect for the original, but I had made the fatal mistake of not adding names to the localisation files which led to many users subscribed to it experience issues... worst of all there were too many names to do so out of frustration (mainly poor health but I'm much better now I promise) I had decided to start it again completely from scratch.

I hope you can all forgive me for deleting the original, I'll keep better track of my health and take breaks when necessary.

What mods are compatible?

A majority mods are compatible however ones that aren't include ones that change Names & Dynasties in the Localisation folders as it'll cause names to either appear with underscores or as placeholders if your using any of the supported Languages.

Then there's mods such as ones that change the fonts that aren't compatible, why fonts in particular?

This mod makes use of an expanded version of the vanilla font that adds in accents for letters, this in turn allows for plenty of names I've added to appear properly as they use accents, if any font mods are used it'll interfere with the mod and cause names I've added to appear with underscores.

There's mods that conflict with More Character Names that have their own namelists, dynasties and localisation files like I mentioned earlier, possibly well known mods to mods I may not even know about.

Therefore if by chance your game is broken with this active, there's a good chance that you also have another mod that's causing conflicts with More Character Names.

if there are any further updates that expand the namelist, could they include the sources where the names were picked from?

@lakupupu - Good point, Although I should've back when I started this as a small project a year ago. I had never bothered to to remember the sites... mind you I've gone through many sites, so many to the point where I can hardly count let alone remember.

It sounds ridiculous coming from me and in response I apologise deeply, however I can confirm that plenty were sourced from Wikipedia!

a cursory glance at the localization files lists the names, but there doesn't appear to be a text file or anything of the sort with what kind of historical sources the names have - "common knowledge", chronicles of the time period for example?
that is why i'm curious if there could be such a list that compiles the sources and gives pointers as to where they are from
if not, is there going to be a list, such as a bunch of sources (like the aforementioned examples) that give pointers as to where the names are from?

@Golden - Sadly had trouble searching for historical female Lithuanian names, the sources I used claimed that some were female... I'll try and look harder into finding genuine female Lithuanian names to replace the masculine ones, I'm terribly sorry
