NPC Overhaul

Omschrijving
Hardcore patch info:
If any of your mods stop working, or you experience issues with your saves, go here and read the description: https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance2/mods/1765?tab=description

I am retiring from the KCD2 modding scene until further notice, after getting permanently banned from the discord modding community server, as it took the joy out of it for me. Thanks for downloading my mods, it was fun while it lasted. :)

This mod is now in maintenance mode. Meaning that I'll only fix it so updates to won't break my mod.

Current Features:
- fully overhauls every female NPC, retouched by yours truly. Katherine and Rosa are included.
- Adjusted several elderly NPCs to make them more lore accurate. More to come in future updates where old age will be applied to nobility for example.
- Fixed neck seams on all female NPCs, vanilla males do not have these seams, which is why the fix is only applied to women.

Version 2.0 changelog:
- With the release of 2.0, I've finished editing every single female in the game. This was an astronomical task, as you can imagine.
- I started every single NPC from scratch yet again.
- For now, I've de-aged all elderly women (except Bozhena), as it's historically inaccurate to see so many 55+ women that aren't part of the nobility.
- 2.0 now includes edits to every single type of texture on a NPCs face.
- Every texture looks much sharper now, while maintaining the same resolution, due to my much improved workflow.
- Alt versions, which generally look softer and sometimes with more makeup, are now offered as an optional download.
- Deleted that ugly dorky hairstyle, you probably know the one.

Version 1.2 changelog:
- Added Rosa to the roster, she was incredibly challenging to fine tune. Kept her freckles.
- Re-edited Pavlena(Regina) and Myshka by removing their cat eyeliner style. It bothered me, as it might suit them, but not random NPCs.
- Retuned Agnes so her facial expressions are more normal looking, a little less high now.
- Made the install process easier and less error prone, by including my 4k body textures for all women, including Katherine and Rosa's new textures.
- Thankfully Warhorse has fixed the lighting bug, so that large file is no longer needed.

Version 1.1 changelog:
- 1.1 is a gigantic update that took over 15 hours to develop.
- Had to restart the entire process for the lighting bugfix, due to an incorrect conversion method being used by everyone. Fixed thanks to Kamzik's tool.
- All men and women are now fixed.
- Seperated the bugfix from the edits as per request.
- Fixed the neck seam present in all vanilla women.
- Re-edited all 6 skins from version 1.0 based on critique.
- Klara now has lots of freckles again.
- Katherine matches her real life actress more.
- Added Agnes and Adleta of Straz to the roster.

Oh, it's always nice to see the 'everyone in medieval Europe died by their mid 30s' fallacy alive and well. Do people really still not understand how averages work? If you have 9 kids, and only 2 of them survive to see puberty, it skews the average life expectancy negatively. After that, so long as you don't die in a war, a plague, or childbirth, there's a good chance you reach 70. The average between all the 0-12 deaths and the handful of 60s, 70s, and 80s deaths was around mid 30s... not the cutoff. The idea that everyone died by 35 is just asinine. No, it isn't historically inaccurate for old women to exist in this time period.

@AmesNFire
You do realize there's some difference between the numbers "55" and "20"?

This mod is not compatible with the Legacy Of The Forge DLC. Some NPC is naked all the time and some clothes become unwearble.
Or maybe 1.4 patch is the cause.
Shame...

Not true at all. 30-40 may have been average life expectancy, but that was only because of very high infant mortality. Most of the people who made it past 20 would have lived easily into their 60s.

I went to a graveyard from the 1800s, and that alone was scary. A large percent of the graves were children, dying from random things. It was really quite sad. People who werent children were mostly in the 60s, 70s, and even saw some 80s.

In medieval times, if you had 6 kids, chances are only 3 would make to adult hood. This is why 30 is the average lifespan back then, but that is very misleading when looking at adult life expectancy.

PS Average life expectancy in "medieval" Europe was around 30-40 years. 55+ for peasant women would be fantasy.

The uploader is Dutch though.

Wut?
Bro go read some books or something. People regularly lived past the 'ripe old age' of 20 in medieval times.
