for example I updated the armour piercing values since they doubled it arbitrarily at some point for vanilla weaponry due to an armour rebalance.
Simply that it seems odd to me that the more expensive to deploy Black Ops units for NDSWG retain the normal 90 degrees FOV while the Assault class which costs a regular 1 deployment point gets a buffed 150 degree FOV.
Especially since the Tier One Rangers have their more expensive Black Ops having a buffed 110 FOV while all the other T1 units retain a regular 90 FOV.
Based on the positions where the Black Ops entities were declared in the two respective xml files, that seems like it could explain how this might have happened if it was a mistake and not intended.
But I understand if you'd rather keep it exactly as it was when you got it from Miller, since you're just maintaining it.
The Last version of Tier One Overhaul on Nexus also mirrors how I have the Steam Workshop release setup, I can only assume it was intentional by Miller but I only went off the Last Official Version released, I didn't compiled previous versions and gauge for changes.
TLDR, It's intentional by the Original Creator and I merely mirrored that.
If you feel this is incorrect or I misunderstood what you meant please further clarify your intentions.
The NDSWG Assault class have 150 field of view with 1.0 radius, while the NDSWG Black Ops class only has the normal 90 FOV with 0.6 radius.
Is the buffed FOV meant for the NDSWG Black Ops class instead but was mistakenly applied to the NDSWG Assault instead?
Going off both the doubled cost and based on how the T1 Rangers themselves are setup. With the T1 Rangers Black Ops class being stronger (at 110 FOV with 1.0 radius) while the other classes have the regular 90 deg FOV and 0.6 radius.
Possibly an error while carrying over changes from the tierone.xml perhaps? Given that the T1 file has the "operators" as the first two entries but NDSWG has the equivalent Black Ops as the bottom two entries instead with Assaults as the first two entries in the xml file.
and in the deleted comment i mentioned its also not showing weapon icons or names for some of them.
Hope this helps and im not alone in this
There is no Files in the current Build of Tier One Overhaul that contain any of the files needed to modify any of those Menus, bar the Upgrade in the Unit which is identical to the Vanilla Rangers.
There is absolutely no way it's not working and/or causing the problems you have listed.
Please make sure this is reproducible with the Current Steam Workshop Release of Tier One Overhaul only, The Nexus Version IS NOT SUPPORTED DO NOT USE IT.
In future please confirm if your problems are reproducible with only the Mod (and it's dependencies) that you decide to report to.
Thanks
Miller has been out of the DK2 Scene for a very very long time, Frankly speaking this is more of a preservation of the mod than an actual continuation/successor.
This mod will not be updated unless something game breaking is found whether by the game updating or otherwise.
My only purpose is to maintain the mod for the foreseeable future, my apologies to anyone seeking more from Tier One Overhaul.
