Welcome to Ambition of the Cosmic. This mod extends the late-game of RimWorld to the extreme, providing a massive time-sink for overwhelming power.

Welcome to Ambition of the Cosmic, previously known as Science Never Stops: Ambition of the Cosmic. This mod is a lengthy and very, very overpowered extension to the RimWorld late-game. It takes the original concept of Aion Algos' Science Never Stops, and turns it up to 11. You'll go through varying levels of hilarious overpoweredness, from crushing Cataphracts to wiping out hundreds-strong raids with a teen who never shot a gun before in his/her life.

The gameplay loop is rather simple, and boils down to trading for tons of plasteel and gold early on to produce everything, then eventually producing your own resources from nothing but time and labor. You go through three (or four, if you enable the True Pinnacle of Creation addon) tiers of technology, with a bunch of buildings, weapons, consumables, and other items for each of those tiers, until you are able to do pretty much anything effortlessly.

If you like being overpowered as all hell, this is your mod. If you like working hard to get to endgame and then laughing as you outpace your enemies even more than you already could in vanilla, this is your mod. If you like being even MORE overpowered, get TPOC. If you don't like patience-based resource generation and being able to crush your enemies without much effort, then I'm unsure why you got this far, but you should definitely avoid AOTC.

This mod was originally made by Aion Algos (formerly known as Alestor) and was known as Science Never Stops. This mod was once called Science Never Stops: Ambition of the Cosmic, but AOTC has moved so far away from the original vision of Aion's SNS, that I've decided to remove the 'Science Never Stops' portion of the mod. The original SNS and this mod, AOTC, are not compatible and should NOT be combined, or things will break.

New creator's note : I took over the mod after Explodoboy announced that he would no longer be keeping the mod up-to-date due to no longer having the time to do so.

Elite Bionics Framework
If you are using EBF with AOTC, bionics will get massive increases in limb health. For best results, add a mod that removes lethal damage threshold.

No More Lethal Damage Threshold
Removes the arbitrary 150 damage cap that force-kills pawns. Pretty much mandatory when using EBF.

3 semi small bugs I noticed

Got a bit of texture problem. For example, the model texture for gen3 computer is somehow missing (if you build it you get a big X). Also happens to a few other weapons and buildings. Not sure why this is the case. I tried re-subscribing and it did not fix this issue.

hey im back. ive been testing my mods and it turns out there's a slight display problem with rimhud mod. you see, i spawned a volatile leaper, a deadly void monster that can easily one shot any pawn, against my best pawn with all zenith implants.

dude survived the attack, rimhud showed health critical at 5% after getting attacked BUT the vanilla health bar showed that he still had around 27.000/28.000 torso health, so im glad to report that your mod works just fine! its just that there's a slight problem with rimhud not recognizing the health multiplication from elite bionic framework!

@Para eh its ok, not a big deal for me. that just makes me play more cautiously and not just charge in blindly like ooga booga cavemen
i will be testing stuff as well to try finding the problem and solution

I also play with un-limited, and without it there are limitations.

Honestly, I don't know how it managed to deal that much damage...

@Para yes. i want to have the sense of accomplishment, zero to hero stuff since i always play naked brutality. did the mod have something to do with the damage from uranium slug turret perhaps?
my best pawn is equipped with all torso shrouds, with zenith torso shroud multiplying his hp by 10000%, eternium duster, overall blunt and sharp armor 200%. he's basically a superman rn, but that one shot that happened to hit him in the torso wrecked his health lel

hello im back again
i need help with something. i have installed aotc, void, elite bionic framework, and no more lethal damage treshold. one of my pawns have full zenith bionics that adds ton of multiplication to their health but when he got shot by slug turret, the damage took 1/4 of his max health...
so what is going on? he should have tons of max health due to zenith bionics but 1 hit attack from a slug turret that happen to hit him manage to damage him significantly?
i posted this question in each of the mod pages just in case if anyone has the answer to this
