描述
Asian Flashpoint is to be a series of mods aimed at adding factions fought in Asia in different wars. Viet Minh, India 1962, Pakistan 1965, PLA 1962, Koreans of 1950 and US Army 1950 are to be added in standalone mods later.

This adds a small mostly authentic France faction suitable for late Indochina War. Some gear is authentic and accurate, some is placeholder.

What is it?
-Three subcategories: Regulars, Paras and Legion. They differ by uniform, camo, gear selection and nationality. For Regulars of the CEFEO and Paras the most soldiers are local Vietnamese, while SLs,TLs and Officers are French. Legion is a mix of different nationalities with French Officers.
-French name strings
-Retextured SOG uniforms for units to use. Will change to proper new uniform models in future.
-Number of TAP webbings with dedicated variants, they come with distance LODs so should be ok on FPS.
-Few variants of leather belt with leather pouches for regulars.
-SOG vehicles retextures, including C119. Vehicles are not very historical accurate, but can go for now.
-Zeus compability.
-Basic set of groups to use.
-Remated FM24 from Nickel Steel so it now does not look odd.


My custom stuff is distributed under APL-SA, while whats belong to SOG is distibuted under their license.

Known bugs:
-There are no AT soldiers now, since I am doing M9 Bazooka for them to use.
-New added gear and headgear doesn't have shadow lod. Going to fix in future.
-No preview pics since I do not really care about them.
-Might be issues with gear ammo capacity.

Plans:
-Medic bag.
-Para MAS 36 CR 39 rifle for Paras to use.
-Configure the M24 Chaffee.
-Import C47.
-M20 Bazooka.
-Algerian War update.
-Some boats to model/import/add.

..for instance REP ( Paras Legion ) 1st and 2nd (ex BEP) who disembarked directly in Algeria and were engaged after a very short R&R period , as 1955 was so critical for the French Army...

It was not used in Indochina other than very small bunch of testing rifles. M49 was used not very much too. Most used ones were the m36 and m1 carbine.

@bissonlulu8 Currently is much more grounded list, like proper uniforms, more gear, backpacks, some custom weapons, webbings for the ALN guerillas, importing the Chaffee, some Saharan Companies and others gear and uni. Pretty big even without the vehicles. Also quite fun would be to have a SPE soft dep
