..for instance REP ( Paras Legion ) 1st and 2nd (ex BEP) who disembarked directly in Algeria and were engaged after a very short R&R period , as 1955 was so critical for the French Army...

It was not used in Indochina other than very small bunch of testing rifles. M49 was used not very much too. Most used ones were the m36 and m1 carbine.

@bissonlulu8 Currently is much more grounded list, like proper uniforms, more gear, backpacks, some custom weapons, webbings for the ALN guerillas, importing the Chaffee, some Saharan Companies and others gear and uni. Pretty big even without the vehicles. Also quite fun would be to have a SPE soft dep

@Garuda Thirteen yes, I did wait for this update to git rid of FWA and redoing the infantry weapon loadouts. So FM-24 for the FWA one, also removing the m49 since the m49 and m49-56 were almost non used in Indochina. So the M1 carbine will take their place. M49-56 will be distributed in Algerian submod/update.

Very good, especially as you have only used SOGPF as the base, to get it more accurate you would need to use some other mods that are quite big just to get the right trucks or helos and such.
I was going to do this myself but as i say, sooo many different mods just for some period appropriate items, Big thumbs up !:steamthumbsup:

Better with SOG DLC alone and SpearHead closed....but some minor items missing.

Can't wait for the updates for vehicles! Boutta use this stuff for a Unit Campaign based on a alt history of france winning the first indochina war and the second one being another colonial war

Now trying to load the groups in the editor I was surprised they all come in modern combat suit.....they have your webbing, weapons and hats _some disarmed_ and it is impossible to change dress individually -they stay in undies........:steamhappy:

Okay so I actually found did find one bug when using Zeus. When you spawn them in individually it's fine, but if you spawn them as one of the preset groups, they spawn as opfor

@Warrior Spearhead is cool but the main idea of these series of mods *not* to have SPE, but getting proper factions. Vehicles are kind of tought one tho

@gayboy farti M49 from FWA is earlier and eligiable for Indochina war, and M49-56 from SOG is a later modification which was used in Algeria. Also its shorter. I personally really love the SOGs one more, esp anims, but it wouldnt be really accurate to use there. But I will stick to it in Algeria submod/update

hope to see more for Indochina French Forces : Amphibious Weasel MG/radio, Buffalo/Gun.............
Also some for North Africa like commandos Air or Naval, support Helicopters upgunned ( mamouth ) as many were experiments from field mechs.....

Updated. Fixed some errors with pop-up errors, made full ZEUS compatible, added basic set of vehicles from the SOG - truck, jeep, statics and CH-34.
