You could have this do anything from give the player gold to trigger apocalyptic events with enough effort - and that's impressive! :D
Then there would be an event at the start of the new game that would maybe give you a special building in your capital for being the more direct lineage of survivors or something like that. Just thinking of possibilities is exciting!

tk;dr Can this event system store flags/variables in save data to trigger future events later in the game? I have grand plans for it if so!
In Beyond Earth, you would then have a Quest pop-up at the start of turn 2 which would prompt you to enter any codes you got from your Civ 6 playthrough (which you would get from said pop-up via this mod at the end of the game) and it would give you a small bonus to the Harmony Affinity.
The idea is that certain decisions and choices from one game to the other could compound and effect each other.
Is this event template able to store extra variables in the save data?
In other words, could I have an event occur on Turn 142, where the player chooses option A it flags a switch that makes an event able to occur on Turn 205?
