This is the Compatibility Patch for A Game of Thrones (AGOT) and Battle Graphics.

⚠️ Please read the following mod loading order instructions carefully. It's very important to use the correct mod loading order!

  • Includes full compatibility for AGOT and BG main mod
  • Implemented all existing custom AGOT army unit models, which have been provided by AGOT, into BG style armies
  • the following cultural gfx armies now include AGOT custom army unit models: valeman, westerman, reachman, honeywiner, stormlander, riverlander, ironborn, northman, westerosi valyrian, high valyrian, dornish and stone dornish
  • reworked and adjusted provided AGOT army unit models when necessary or beneficial in my opinion to better fit into BG-AGOT armies
  • over the long-term i plan to add more custom AGOT army unit model variants, more improvements for existing unit models and new custom AGOT unit models (after i am done with providing a BG-LOTR compatibility patch incl. new LOTR unit models)

hmm that's strange. it's working fine for me. i just tested AGOT + BG + BG AGOT compatch with the following mod loading order and i didn't see any issues:
1. AGOT
2. BG
3. this BG AGOT Compatch

i also checked the files/code and didn't see any code that does need an update for the current version of BG and AGOT.

is there maybe another AGOT submod that you are using that is causing compatibility issues with BG for you? could you please verify that you encountered issues with this compatch by creating a playlist that only consists of the three previously mentioned mods (for testing purposes)? and could you maybe share some screenshots? this would be very helpful. thank you in advance!

This mod have issues with character poses (very small arms and disturbing body) on the character selection map and portrait panel.

cant wait for the LOTR patch! love your mods and asked a few months ago if we would ever see a LOTR BG patch and my prayers have been answered

News: a major new update for BG-AGOT Compatibility patch was just released. This update does include the new custom AGOT unit models, which have been released by AGOT at may 15, and which i was allowed to use and rework to make them fit into BG-AGOT style armies for this compatibility patch.

Over the long-term i do plan to add more AGOT army unit model variants and new custom AGOT army unit models for this compatibility patch (and potentially also for AGOT itself). But first i am going to work on a new BG-LOTR compatibility patch and new LOTR unit models (because i made the same offer to both mod teams and LOTR was faster with providing the necessary permissions).
In the meantime feel free to enjoy the new BG-AGOT compatibility patch with even more immersive AGOT style armies. Have fun!

so far i am still waiting for their decision if i get the permission to do this or not. if they are going to give me the permission, then i am going to update this mod and i might also add new models over time. if i don't get their permission, then i might provide a super basic comp. patch which would maybe have some inconsistencies among those units (because i am not allowed to rework them in that case) or i might decide to stop providing this comp. patch. we will see. i can't say much more than that until i received a final decision from the AGOT team.

first, thank you, i am happy if you like my mods!
regarding your question: since AGOT introduced new custom army unit models i started to update this mod. while i started to build armies consisting of new AGOT units + existing BG units, i noticed it would be even better if i was allowed to rework and improve those existing AGOT unit models and if i also create some new AGOT unit models.

however, for doing this i would need an official permission by the AGOT team to use and rework their graphic assets. so i contacted them and offered that i would not only update this mod and improve some AGOT army unit models, but i would also help them with adding new AGOT custom unit models which they could choose freely to use for their own AGOT main mod as well or not, if they allowed me to use and rework their graphic assets.
