This is an optional addon/submod for Battle Graphics. However, this mod can also be used without using Battle Graphics mod. This mod just includes some additional graphical adjustments that i personally like to use when playing with (and without) Battle Graphics mod. I am just sharing how i personally like to play CK3 with this mod. You can turn this mod on and off at any time and it's also save-game compatible.

  • Graphics only mod => no gameplay changes!
  • added two additional zoom steps for zooming in closer (incl. adjustments for other parts of the code that are dependent on certain zoom levels)
  • slightly downscaled army+travel units on map (-30% --- together with the two additional zoom steps you can zoom in much closer when it comes to unit graphics than before even with the -30% downscale of units)
  • additionally downscaled travel unit (tour-unit graphic) in order to be more in line with army unit graphic scaling
  • removed zoom-in and zoom-out effect that made units bigger and smaller on the map depending on the zoom-level
  • downscaled and sometimes completely reworked border graphics. borders will look cleaner and thinner
  • downscaled travel markers and movement arrows + added opacity creating a cleaner map
  • slightly downscaled holding selection circle
  • reworked some post effect volumes
  • slightly downscaled horse and sheep models on the map (which does better fit with rescaled army unit graphics)
  • improved horse and sheep textures (more immersive less saturated colors and better lighting)

You are looking for a certain Comp.Patch for BG or a BG submod?


Is there a smaller version of this mod that only includes some of it's parts?
  • Yes, there is a ZSM LITE version of this mod available, that only includes the feature that army unit models and travel unit models will not change their scaling when zooming in and out (which is included into this BG ZSM submod). The LITE mod of this ZSM mod has no other graphic features like smaller unit scaling overall, adjusted border graphics and so on.

This mod is still up to date with CK3 1.18.1 release today. It therefore doesn't need an update

Thx!This list is so large that I think maybe a separate page should be given to incompatible mods? Or put it in the front?This may save a lot of time.However, your work attitude is really great!!
