Better ground-penetrating scanner

描述


This mod allows to tune the ground-penetrating scanner to scan for a specific resource. It is still possible to scan for random resources. To balance it out, when a specific resource is selected, scanning time is multiplied by 1.5. You can use the settings to set it from 1 (no augmentation) to 5.



When no pawn are using the scanner, it will continue to scan at a lowered efficiency (75% by default). This allows to free up pawns when playing small colonies. This behavior can also be tweaked or completely disabled. Efficiency can be set from 10% to 500%.

why's it that sometimes you get 75 ore per tile, and sometimes 300?
before 1.6, almost all scans had 300 ore tiles, but now i only got 75 steel per tile on a dozen scans, while plasteel, gold and uranium still get 300. am i just getting unlucky? was it a recent, undocumented change? or am i just stupid? i have no idea.

Hello. Not that this is error, but it is written that all ores should be visible and I can recall that in 2024 it was working perfectly fine with glitter tech alpha-beta poly. Now on I can't see those ores in the list for some reason, previously those rare things were in the list for specific search. Where could I lookup what ores could be found through ground-pen scan? Is there list somewhere?
