Making your own system is much more fun and doesn't limit you to following the rules & requirements of others like sibtat. Plus, this is your workshop, build what you want. We are not required to build stuff that the workshop community wants.
Keep making cool stuff, honestly haven't seen a lot of gooseneck trailers so itl be cool to see what else you make.
1) I like to make my own systems, and this gives me the most freedom!
2) SIBTaT is intended for tractor trailers; whereas my system gives flexibility for hitch, gooseneck, and semi trailer systems
3) SIBTaT is intended for very wide trucks, I like to make my vehicles smaller
4) I have an inventory of trailers and vehicles using the HGS system. I am not trying to take any users away from SIBTaT, but I have enough people asking for my HGS system to use with my vehicles!
However works pretty good
