Leírás
Hi There!
This is my replica of the MAZ Perestroika active road train

On March 11, 1985, at a meeting of the Politburo of the CPSU Central Committee, USSR Foreign
Minister Gromyko nominated Mikhail Sergeevich Gorbachev to the post of General Secretary of
the Communist Party. And on April 23, Secretary General Gorbachev proclaimed a new era in
the development of the country, which was later called “Perestroika”.

Almost simultaneously, at the country’s largest enterprise in Minsk, or, to be more precise, at
the Minsk Automobile Plant, where the most popular MAZ long-range tractor was assembled,
work began on creating a model of the 21st century. It was called MAZ-2000 or “Perestroika”.
The timing today is amazing: already in 1986, a working model with a German MAN diesel engine
and a domestic manual gearbox was ready. Thanks to its unique design and streamlined body
shape, this car with ballast could reach a speed of 120 km/h. What kind of truck was this?
Imagine a modern road train: it is a tractor unit and a semi-trailer that is attached to the saddle
of a truck.

So, in Minsk they proposed abandoning the usual scheme: the engineers decided to use
a different design. The front bogie with one axle and a cabin was a tractor; a trailer was attached
to it, which had three axles. The length of the trailer itself could be adjusted, that is, the truck
became a third longer than a conventional road train. The truck tractor, which reduces the length
of the trailer, was absent - the result was a one-piece caterpillar that could transport up to 80 tons.

To get active train options - you will need to connect a cable from the truck to the special trailer
and press the needed function on the monitor
- You can stack any amount of trailers you want, and lose not that much speed

This Truck is part of my MAZ Perestroyka project, other trailers will be released soon

how do you connect the trailer?

NVM I figured it out, so on the screen on the middle of the cabin you do not use E/F to interact with it, you actually left click it to activate it, I am new the game and never saw anything like that before, after i realised it worked perfectly

I cannot connect the trailer to the truck, it does not seem to work at all, I've clicked all buttons and connected the cable, no monitor change seems to work
