Hi There!
This is my view on how the MAZ active train trailer could look like
That basically means that you can install an engine controller to any car/truck you want, and not get the extra load from its weight while travelling.
- Also, you can stack any amount of trailers you want, and lose not that much speed
- It gives you the ability to carry much more load, and not use extra trucks for the trailers, so you save time and money

It will need a drivetrain microcontroller with a slave system, you will need to connect cable from your truck
With sibtat+ you can turn on its functions

This trailer is part of my MAZ Perestroyka project, other trailers will be released soon



Specifications
  • Max load - 2x4 ton containers
  • Width - 2.75m
  • Length - 14.75 m (16.5 m)
  • Top speed - 140 kmph
  • Fuel - 580L
  • Engine - 11 Cyl Turbo
  • Transmission - ZE 8 gear automatic
Sibtat+ is connected - so you can use it for its main functions

on the red truck in one of the pictures, how do i connect the cable to the truck? which anchor? and what is the name of that truck?

It worked fine with 3 ton containers, maybe its smth about the container weight?

Hey, the whole roadtrain system is really nice and works well, i just find one thing a bit sad. i cant load the trailer correctly because the one front axle is too weak to hold a container up so it just collapses into the ground, i fixed this temporarily for myself by just making it a suspensionless wheel but it would be nice to have a more official fix for this :steamthumbsup:

Thanks! im trying to load up a ferry with it and it just seems that the dolly is fantastic at doing it

@Rickens_jr, this can be only controlled by cable, but the dolly from this set has RC control

UPD: repainted platform and added hardpoints for the modules
