Kuvaus
The Almaraz nuclear power plant is a nuclear power plant located in the municipality of Almaraz (province of Caceres), it was the first second generation nuclear power plant built in Spain and belongs to the companies Iberdrola, Naturgy and Endesa that form the Centrales Nucleares Almaraz-Trillo society (CNAT), generates more than 6% of Spanish energy.

It has two 2947 MWth PWR reactors, Unit I entered commercial service on May 1, 1981 and Unit II did so on October 8, 1983. Its cooling system is open circuit to the Arrocampo reservoir on the Tagus River.

La central nuclear de Almaraz es una central nuclear situada en el termino municipal de Almaraz (provincia de Caceres),fue la primera central nuclear de segunda generacion construida en España y pertenece a las empresas Iberdrola, Naturgy y Endesa que forman la Sociedad Centrales Nucleares Almaraz-Trillo (CNAT), genera mas del 6% de la energia española.

Tiene dos reactores PWR de 2947 MWth, la Unidad I entro en servicio comercial el 1 de mayo de 1981 y la II lo hizo el 8 de octubre de 1983, Su sistema de refrigeracion es de circuito abierto al embalse de Arrocampo en el rio Tajo.

Thanks for taking the time to consider my request and for increading the internal (rad protected) storage.

My suggestion was to increase the "open storage" space used to store the spent containers : according to the tooltip, the Almaraz plant only has 23 m2 of storage. The vanilla twin reactor plant, while beeing less powerfull, has 88 m2 of storage :

Would it be possible to increase the open storage in the Almaraz plant to at least match the vanilla one ?
When looking at the plant in-game it seems that there is a lot of empty space around the storage area and that it could be expanded without colliding with any building. However I have never moded this game so I have no idea if that is an easy change or not.

Hello and thank you. I've never had any problems with storage (I usually use trucks), and in fact, it has the same internal storage as the vanilla plant. However, because it's a powerful plant and therefore consumes fuel quite quickly, I've increased the internal storage to 4 tons.

Thank you for this beautiful work. I made this my main design in most of my games.

However I encountered the following issue : the powerplant can be easily saturated by spend fuel if the fuel is not frequently collected (in my case it is a train line with many stops so there can be delays). The plant itself can only store a few casks (less than 5 I think), and external storage available through connections is not used (the plant does not "push" the casks to the external storage and just stops operating).

As quick fix, could you increase the internal cask storage of the plant (or the rad protected storage) ?

Hola de nuevo, disculpa la molestia pero quería preguntarte una cosa si estás pensando hace una fábrica de cemento en España.

Curioso, hace cuatro dias construi por primera vez su equivalente en el juego y pense que estaria bien hacer una version pequeña de ella.

No obstante a nivel de centrales voy surtido, ahora mismo estoy con la central nuclear de Santa Maria de Garoña (esta acabada al 60-70% mas o menos), y aparte de mas centrales españolas (Vandellos II o Asco, por ejemplo, o la de carbon de As pontes que te comente antes) tambien ya me han pedido que haga alguna mas, como Loviisa, ademas me gustaria hacer tambien alguna de la era sovietica estilo Kursk o Smolensk, por lo que, unido a que son cosas complejas, que llevan tiempo para hacerlas en condiciones lo veo muy dificil que la haga.

No obstante lo pensare, pero ya te digo que las posibilidades son muy bajas y no prometo nada.
