It was working before, so I don't know what's up with it now.
For anyone having issues with Duplicate Material Template errors, the easy fix is to just delete the Material Templates Patch in the mod's Objects folder. This does remove the intended alterations, but as far as I know those were being overwritten before anyway.
If you'd like it to function more as intended, check out the Cute Kobold Caverns series of mods for the Materials Update patch. It has instructions on how to fix it, and from what I looked over it should be comparable even if you aren't using the Cute Kobold version.
