3D models were based upon vanilla models by Keen, I modified them and re-wrote the .sbc to create new variants.

Hi everyone this is my first mod pack ! it adds 6 new cannons to the game !

1-Attack Cannon: Based on the Assault Cannons but has got 60RPM it's magazine can house 5 Shells, it fires a shot every second and takes 3 to 4 Seconds to reload the magazine, does less damage than an Assault Cannon, perfect use as a heavy flak, range 1500m

2-Heavy Auto Cannon: Developed from the Auto-Cannon, it has got less range less RPM and less magazine capacity and less accuracy, but packs more punch, range 760m

3-Hyper Velocity Assault Cannon: Developed from the Assault Cannon, it fires a really fast kinetic SABOT up to a range of 2000m, somewhat cheaper than a Rail Gun, however it's projectile is still not as fast a Rail Gun projectile, really accurate.

4-Light Auto-Cannon: Uses the same ammo from the Gatling Gun, it has got less RPM but more room for some extra ammo, cheaper to make than a Gatling and slightly more accurate. range 800m

5-Bofors: Uses it's own ammo, fires rounds up to a range of 1000m with RPM of 120, 2 shots per second. does some damage.

6-Chain-Cannon: Uses the same ammo of the Auto Cannon has got 700RPM really powerful weapon but expensive to make, range 800m

More Variants will come in the future.

Back port version of the Heavy and Light Auto Cannon now available.

Hey, I just got back home, I posted this across a couple of gun mods and it seems one of them has found a solution and I'd like to share it in case it helps you with the fix, here is the comment:

"Fix implemented. they added some sort of inventory input validator. EntityComponents.sbc, MyObjectBuilder_InventoryComponentDefinition, subtype AmmoFilterSmallAssaultCannonGun, AmmoFilterSmallMediumCalibreTurret, AmmoFilterLargeMediumCalibreTurret.

Validated functional."

Hi! After the new Core Systems update,

The Chain Cannon now only takes Gatling Ammo Boxes but doesn't shoot them because it requires Autocannon Magazines to shoot.

The Auto Cannon Backport only takes Gatling Ammo Boxes but doesn't shoot them because it requires Autocannon Magazines to shoot.


The Heavy Auto Cannon and it's Backport version only take Gatling Ammo Boxes but they don't shoot them because they require Heavy Autocannon Magazines to shoot.

Tested in a vanilla world with only this mod on. It appears this is the case on multiple gun mods. Hope there's a fix soon, thanks and have a good day!

@Jingleheimerschmidt sorry for long reply, maybe like 1 month late, but can you check now ? I fixed it, it was 1 second fix lol uh I was doing Master's Thesis

Hey mate, is it intentional for this mod to entirely replace the vanilla autocannon with its default conveyor ports?
It seems to have disappeared from the G menu.
