Hey, I just got back home, I posted this across a couple of gun mods and it seems one of them has found a solution and I'd like to share it in case it helps you with the fix, here is the comment:

"Fix implemented. they added some sort of inventory input validator. EntityComponents.sbc, MyObjectBuilder_InventoryComponentDefinition, subtype AmmoFilterSmallAssaultCannonGun, AmmoFilterSmallMediumCalibreTurret, AmmoFilterLargeMediumCalibreTurret.

Validated functional."

Hi! After the new Core Systems update,

The Chain Cannon now only takes Gatling Ammo Boxes but doesn't shoot them because it requires Autocannon Magazines to shoot.

The Auto Cannon Backport only takes Gatling Ammo Boxes but doesn't shoot them because it requires Autocannon Magazines to shoot.


The Heavy Auto Cannon and it's Backport version only take Gatling Ammo Boxes but they don't shoot them because they require Heavy Autocannon Magazines to shoot.

Tested in a vanilla world with only this mod on. It appears this is the case on multiple gun mods. Hope there's a fix soon, thanks and have a good day!

Hey mate, is it intentional for this mod to entirely replace the vanilla autocannon with its default conveyor ports?
It seems to have disappeared from the G menu.

want to let you know that the heavy auto cannon (with the back port) is shooting backwards. muzzle flash is appearing the correct location but the projectile itself is going out reverse.

Yeah I didn't because I had to revert, I plan my updates on 3 phases, first I am updating the collision boxes, then updating the values, then I will add bonus variants

Its a bit confusing that the "Bofors Clip" is called Hyper Velocity Shell" in the production menu. When crafted it is called "Bofors Clip" like intended. Really awesome mod <3

if you ever add an EC pack 3, would it be possible for you to add a connector port to the back sides of the various machine guns? This would make it easer to have smaller turrets.

@BlueBirrb It only bugs sometimes. I will see if it is the modlist of ours itself by moving it the to top of the load order and see if it helps at all..

@BlueBirrb Heya Birrb a space engineer server i play/moderate on has been having the "Chain Cannon" and the "Heavy Auto Cannon" shoot everywhich way other than forward.. removing then replacing them have fixed it but it only fixs that gun and not every other one. sorry that i keep reporting bugs

Made yet another small update, and added Hyper Velocity Assault Cannon V2 without Fume Extractor should fit custom turrets for Space Ships

Any chance that the twin turret uses alternating fire like the Gepard Flak Panzer does? Having 2 guns that fire at 600rpm and so doubling the fire rate to 1200rpm, with a 6 round mag and maybe 1 second reload time to give it burst fire.

Hi, my friend and I are already making Atmospheric Hydrogen Thruster from vanilla blocks + finishing the ring ones (like in the movie avatar on scorpio helicopters). I think it would be a good idea if all three mods are balanced for each other so that the players have a variety.
