📝 About
Firefoam Things adds multiple handy firefoam weapons to help deal with unruly fires. Each piece of weaponry excels at a specific task. The launcher can quickly deal with small fires from a distance. The grenades can extinguish entire rooms. The Sprayer can help create firebreaks, or extinguish large wildfires.

Everything is integrated with vanilla research.

This mod may not be compatible with Combat Extended.

📂 Contents

Description:
A wide-barreled Firefoam shell launcher. The shells release a small burst of fire-retardant foam on impact, extinguishing nearby fires.

Useful for quickly and accurately extinguishing fires from a safe distance whilst leaving little to no mess behind.


Description:
A pressurised Firefoam sprayer. Releases a short-distance wide burst of fire-retardant foam through its nozzle, extinguishing fires and prevents fires from spreading.

Useful for creating temporary firebreaks and smothering large wildfires.


Description:
Grenades filled with Firefoam. They can be thrown a short distance, releasing a large burst of fire-retardant foam that extinguish nearby fires.

Useful for tactically extinguishing indoor fires and preventing fires from getting out of hand.

Requires Vanilla Weapons Expanded - Grenades

Combat Extended now uses fuelcells for its firefoam turrets if you fancy to make it compatible.

This has to be an odd interaction with another mod on my list but I can't figure it out for the life of me. Has anyone else had an odd visual effect when any firefoam launcher from this mod is fired? It's a long grey bar tracking with each projectile fired. I don't think it's actually causing any problem, it's just a weird visual artifact.

Hey, I love the mod, really should be in vanilla!
Just one question, what does the quality of the items change? Is there a difference between an Awful Firefoam Sprayer and a Legendary Firefoam Sprayer? I was hoping it would reduce the cooldown or something. Again thanks for the mod!

There have been changes to the comps for reloadable apparel. Errors are being thrown when this mod and Vanilla Weapons Expanded Grenades are run together in 1.5.

To clarify: they work as vanilla if using CE. they don't take ammo, they aren't patched for melee combat, but you will still be able to use them to put out fires.
