The Fungoid Expanded!

Beskrivning
This mod expands upon the original The Fungoid! mod.

  • Fungoids have been spread around the world, mostly showing up as slaves, refugees, and independent characters away from slaver civiliation
  • The Fungoid Refuge was moved to a more sensible location and includes some more interactivity, including the ability to ally with the fungoids
  • 4 new Fungoid subraces
  • Fungoids now drop their limbs (instead of human limbs) when they get cut off
  • Lots of brand new dialogue and personalities
  • Brand new fungus themed weapons
  • You can obtain blueprints for the various clothes and armor from the original Fungoids mod
  • A small fungoid liberation campaign, mostly shared with the Rebel Farmers and Anti-Slavers
  • Slave fungoids no longer join for free and will behave more like vanilla slaves. Hireable fungoids can be found in various locations now.

Unique fungoid locations:

  • Paras: The Hub
  • Miko: Fishing Village
  • Tiko: Mourn
  • Riko: Settled Nomads
  • Shroomy: Mongrel


Unique fungoid hiring conditions:

  • Paras: free
  • Miko: be enemies with the Holy Nation
  • Tiko: have average stats at 50 or higher, or knock him out and put him in a cage
  • Riko: be allies with Anti-Slavers or Flotsam Ninja, or defeat a bandit leader, or defeat a slaver overseer
  • Shroomy: bring him a fog prince head

fungoid doesnt appear in character creation when starting a new game so im gonna assume it doesnt unless theres a fix for that

I think is my fault since I installed a mod which increases the hit chance on limbs and reduces the hit chance on the head, so it might be that. Great mod, I love the design of those little guys and your patch is great.

I actually toned that down with this mod. Still immortal huh? Ha. Weeell, in exchange, 2 equip slots are locked and they have pretty terrible strength and dexterity penalties. I think it's still fairly balanced.

@Babia You're right, I just kinda blindly included the weapons to the vendor list without adjusting the frequency. It has been adjusted. Fungoid weapons and blueprints should show up semi rarely now.

This mod really expands on the original one seamlessly, thanks for making pico a faction leader with realistic stats! That free mega recruit on the baseline mod was really strong

My only problem is the fungoid weapons diluting the list of most weapon vendors, but i can live with that

@disma_r I'm using the fungoid model from the original mod. If the original mod author updates the waist of the fungoid to be wider to better fit the pants, then I'll update mine too. I think that seems unlikely to happen though. Fungoids just have narrow waists!
