Mashed's Spiribirds

Beskrivelse

[github.com]

An incredibly hardy small bushy plant with multi coloured flowers, which can be found growing almost everywhere. Named after the spiribirds that can sometimes be found hiding in it, and will often feed from the flowers that grow on it.

Mature spiribush can be harvested for its flowers, an item necessary for crafting petalaces. There is a small chance that a spiribird will emerge from a bush when it is harvested.

Small birds, often found with a belly coated in pollen. Highly adaptable, spiribirds are found almost everywhere, you just need to know where to look for them.

Mature spiribirds accumulate pollen on their bellies over time. Spiribird pollen can periodically be gathered from the bellies of tame spiribirds.

Both wild and tame spiribirds are attracted to petalaces. They will occasionally visit anyone wearing a petalace, leaving some pollen on it in the process.

Petalaces are small charms, typically attached to ones belt. While petalaces themselves offer no benefit to the wearer, they will attract both wild and tame spiribirds, who will leave behind some pollen on the petalace. The pollen left behind will empower the petalace, granting a small buff to the wearer.

There are many different kinds of petalaces to craft, each with their own affinities and limitations.

An extra mod that adds in Spiribugs, as well as three additional petalaces. Available here.

  • Vanilla Expanded Framework
  • Vanilla Genetics Expanded (spiribirds give bird genetic materials)
  • Mashed's Ashlands (spiribirds and spiribush are immune to ash storms)
  • SeedsPlease Lite (does what you'd expect)
  • Pretty much any biome mod out there.

  • Based on Monster Hunter Rise, by Capcom.
  • Seed bag texture used in the SeedsPlease Lite patch by CitizenKanye.

That makes a lot of sense, thanks

@sorryjzargo, hard to say what's going on seeing as I can't open your map and check. Toxic buildup scales inversely based on body size, and spiribirds have a very small bodysize. So chances are other animals are getting toxic buildup, it's just not visible yet.

For some reason all my spiribirds are getting toxic buildup but none of my other animals are. Is there something that makes them build up toxins or is my game just busted?

Uh, why do certain pen mods break pen assignable animals that aren't herd animals? Also what certain pen mods?
oliverrook 7. aug. 2023 kl. 7:33
I added that line in their def file and now it works fine.
oliverrook 7. aug. 2023 kl. 7:33
I found the problem. You don't specify spiribirds as a herd animal, therefore certain pen mods don't work with them.

Yea that might be the locks mod.
oliverrook 4. aug. 2023 kl. 15:01
Could also be the lock mod I suppose

Does it matter that my pen has walls as part of it?
