S.imply F.un O.verhaul: Grimhammer III is a total overhaul mod that changes every aspect of the TW: WH III to be closer to the lore and Warhammer universe. This mod contains all campaign and battles changes. Our main goal is fun gameplay, don't expect balance from a small team mod. SFO mods are not meant to be better than vanilla game but meant to be a different experience! Vanilla is great and no mod will change that!

Do not require any other mods or even DLC to give you full SFO experience.

We are long fans of Warhammer and want to share this passion with all of you.

Warp Stars are so overpowered that they can almost wipe out low/mid-tier infantry units with one overcast, and when used on a single target, they can kill them in 2-3 hits.

try another foe non nurglish, since nurgle as faction is slow and tough, try empire for example.

@door: That's probably for you to figure out, as there are way too many mods out there to keep track of such compatibility issues. Due to the nature of SFO as a large overhaul, there are a lot of incompatible mods.

@Venris thank you for the answer. I am still wondering about the others though, as far as I can tell all my Soul Grinders were subpar and far removed from the expected performance from the unit rarity (when playing with unit caps).

And while on the topic of Soul Grinders: Shooting them with artillery also proved to be a fruitless exercise. We tested 3 Cathayan cannons (4 entities each) shooting a single Soul Grinder, dealing minimal damage over a considerable timeframe. Might be related to the cannons, they seem a bit weak overall (compared to other artillery).

It may sound like complaining, but isnt: I am just trying to understand SFO balance correctly and how to use the units. Overall I really like the SFO changes and it spices things up a lot!
