Things expected to not work:
Nuclear Reactor - Boiler control system broken by removal of pressure node
Ballast system - Blowing and filling ballast is highly unlikely to work.







>>Introduction<<
With the release of the weapons DLC, I wanted to make a submarine specifically for just fighting in multiplayer. By trimming out most of the decorative and less useful features from previous my previous works, I was able to achieve this goal well. I am proud to introduce the latest member of my fleet, the Eskei class submarine.

The Eskei Class is a small, (relatively) lightweight nuclear attack submarine designed with multiplayer in mind. Featuring a high top speed, sonar guided torpedoes, and excellent maneuverability, the Eskei class is quite the fighter.

The standard model carries 2 torpedoes and is lighter, faster, and handles better than the heavy. It also is much more performance friendly.

- Reactor
Operating the reactor is straightforward, although there are a few quirks to note.
1. The submarine has a maximum operating depth. Due to the cooling loop design, the reactor will not be able to
continuously operate beyond around 130-150m in depth. While you can go as deep as you like, if you stay too deep for too long, you will suffer a loss in power.
2. For unknown reasons, one or both of the boilers can randomly(this is NOT a common event) cease operations. This is usually indicated by a loss of power/speed, even at safe depths. To fix this, simply turn the reactor off, wait 10 seconds, and turn it back on. Unsure of what causes this issue ATM.

- Auto-balancing
After firing a torpedo tube, the automatic trim system will balance the submarine to about(not exact, but close) where it was before firing. Note that this is completely automatic, and requires no interaction, although it can take a little bit of time.

- Stationary Depth Hold
Using the stationary depth hold has been greatly simplified over my previous submarines. As long as you have the depth hold activated, the stationary depth hold will automatically engage below 20kph. For roll and pitch control while stationary, activate the roll stabilizer, pitch stabilizer, roll motors, and pitch motors respectively.

- Fire control
This variant of the Eskei class internally carries 2 of Pufferfish's excellent Marino AR4 torpedoes. These weapons have an effective range against a moving target of around 6000m. They are fast, agile, and deadly. Here's how you employ them:

1. Turn on the fire control and select your target by tapping on them with the screen.
2. Maneuver towards your target. Having the target within 90 degrees of where you're pointing is ideal, as the less your torpedoes have to turn initially, the more likely they are to launch without issue.
3. Press and hold the fire button until you hear the rockets launch the torpedo out of the tube.
4. Wait until the "DO NOT FIRE" indicator lights are no longer on. They are there to help prevent any launch accidents.

Thanks to the weapons DLC, I've managed to find a drive in stormworks again. The only project I'm sure about right now is armed torpedoes on Robert 4, but after that I'm not sure. Might actually try to make a surface ship or something at some point, or maybe I'll just give up and return to submarines lol. Hope you all enjoy this sub, I wasn't so sure when I started but I'm happy with the result.
