Modular Engine Controller

描述
Hi there!
After couple months of break from Stormworks I've came back and made new version of my previous Modular Engine Microcontroller. (This time it's working okay)


Inputs:
  • Engine On/Off
    Connect to toggle.
  • Throttle
    Connect to seat/throttle lever. Goes from 0 to 1
  • RPS
    Connect RPS on crankshaft .
  • Composite Cylinder
    Connect to composite on cylinder.
  • Electric Mode
    Composite which allows changing electric motors settings.

    Channel [1] - Turns off engine and you can drive only with electric motors. You can for instance turn this settings on if you're vehicle has low speed so you can accelerate with electric motors and above that speed turn on engine just to reach top speed.

    Channel [2] - Disables electric motors which help with accelerating on start. (Recommended leaving it off if you want to get the best acceleration


Outputs:
  • Air
    Connect to Air Manifold.
  • Fuel
    Connect to Fuel Manifold.
  • Starter
    Connect to starter on engine.
  • Electric Motors
    Connect to electric motors to use them as a support


Properties:
  • Max RPS
    Set max RPS of your engine. If you want to get best acceleration just move slider to max RPS
  • Min RPS
    Set min engine RPS so that engine will turn on (I recommend settings above 3)
  • Idle RPS
    Engine RPS when there's no throttle.
  • AFR Value
    Set what ratio your engine is going to work on. (I found that 14.25 can give you great efficiency)
  • Tooltips
    Enable tooltips to help monitor controller's work. You don't need to turn it on

Does your MC calculate adjustment based on the type of intake being used? Say, a filter vs a scoop?

No. It’s optional but as I remember it helps with acceleration on start
