21/10/2022: 1.4 update

Vanilla Cooking Expanded - Stews is a first sub-module to the new Vanilla Cuisine Expanded mod series. This particular mod introduces medieval stews - which are more nutritious, more expensive soups that are cooked over time on the wood-fired pot.

Ideal for your medieval colonies and long winter nights, these stews remove any debuffs from eating ingredients like insect meat and human meat! Time to sneak some human flesh into your diet.

Bone Apple Tea (sic!).

Vanilla Cooking Expanded mechanics can be seen described below:

Q: Do I need the Vanilla Cooking Expanded mod for this to work?
A: Yes, it is using the new soup cooking mechanic we introduced in VCE.

Q: Can I suggest a feature?
A: Absolutely, leave a comment down below!

Q: Will you keep updating the mod with new types of meals?
A: This mod is feature-complete - it’s literally a small module for the main Cooking mod. If you have a suggestion for a new module, please ask for it on the main Cooking mod comment section.

Q: Is this mod save game compatible?
A: Yes, you can add it whenever you like. Don't EVER remove mods from a running save.

Q: CE compatible?
A: Yes. I hope.

You have either a mod conflict or corrupted mod files

I'm getting loads of errors with this mod:

Also why does it consume fuel when not in use? This isn't similar to vanilla behavior of fueled stoves.

Anyway to reduce micromanage of stews? Would only like my colonists to prepare a stew when under X amount of stew meals. Right now they just endless produce stew until there's so many meals they can't store it.

@moss, Sense Of Depth For Tall Buildings might be causing it. If it is, fiddle with the mod settings for the affected furniture to fix.

the stew pot is clipping with the stew's pot

About the stews vs soups...it seems it is at least the bug in descriptions. As well both seems to have same nutrition? But anyway soups 2 days, stews 3 days, not the other way around as described.

Can there be broths?

As what I found in the pot's description: 'Stew is slightly less nutrition-efficient than Soup, but requires only 2 days of cook time as opposed to Soup's 3.'
But it is opposite in the actual game, which means stew requires 3 days and soup only 2.
Is it a bug or only the description is wrong?
