How to set this up?!?

Info:
Although smaller antennas would work too, it is higly recommended to use the Radio RX Huge antenna as it has the biggest range.


    • Add the zoomoveable map controller to your vehicle.
    • Connect your GPS sensor output with GPS x and GPS y input.
    • Connect the composite output of your monitor with the composite input.

    • Add the AIS A controller to your vehicle.
    • Connect your GPS sensor output with GPS x and GPS y input.
    • Connect your Linear speed sensor output with Speed input.
    • Connect the signal strength output of your antenna with Signal Strength input.
    • Connect your compass sensor output with compass sensor input.
    • Connect the Frequency output of the AIS controller with the Frequency input of your antenna.
    • Connect the send/recv output of the AIS controller with the Transmit Mode input of your antenna.
    • Connect Data Send output of the AIS controller with the Data Send input of your antenna.
    • Connect the Data Recv output of your antenna with the Data Recv input.

    Important: Select the AIS A controller with the select tool and modify the data you see!!! Ship name isn't supported yet, everything else should match your vehicle as close as possible. Even more important: You need to do this for each vehicle you equip with this system and EACH VEHICLE NEEDS A UNIQUE IMO NUMBER!!!
    Otherwise the system won't work properly.


    • Add this controller (Tracking System V2) to your vehicle.
    • Connect the GPS sensor output with the sensor GPS x and sensor GPS y input.
    • Connect the zoom output of the zoomoveable map controller with the map zoom input.
    • Connect the compass sensor output with the compass sensor input.
    • Connect the gps x and gps y output of the zoomoveable map with the map gps x and map gps y input.
    • Connect the AIS Data output of the AIS A controller with the AIS data input.
    • Connect the zoomoveable map video feed output with the video input (zoomable map).

    Now you can stop here and connect the video output of the Tracking System V2 with your monitor video input.
    If you also want the tracking system data addon you don't connect the Tracking System V2 video output with your monitor, but instead you do this:


    • Add the Tracking System Data Addon controller to your vehicle.
    • Connect the gps x and gps y output of the zoomoveable map controller to the gps x and gps y input.
    • Connect the zoom output of the zoomoveable map controller with the zoom input.
    • Connect the composite output of your monitor with the composite input.
    • Connect the AIS Data output of the AIS A controller with the AIS data input.
    • Connect the Tracking System V2 video output with the video input.
    • Connect the video feed output with the video input of your monitor.

--.bishop-- I just heard that AI ships now have an AIS Signal --
the only reference i could find was a post on discord.
so i asked the person and he simply modified all AI-ships.

@.bishop I put it together from scratch now on a new vehilce and the direction indication line is facing into the right direction and the ship icon as well. The ship is also moving into the right direction on the map. So i can only assume what's wrong in your setup.

Also thanks for the info regarding the AI-Ships. If it's true that they send a radio transmitted signal now, i'll also have a look into that and see if i can add it to this system.

hm ok i see, just tested: if i spawn a second boat with the system on it, it works. I just heard that AI ships now have an AIS Signal and wanted to test it. So now my only "complain" is the compass readout. :knlhermit3: pretty nice work u put in that.

@.bishop well, of course it doesn't work with AI-Ships, cause it's a radio transmitted identification system - not a radar. Ships that don't use this system are not visible and AI-Ships are of course not equiped with this system (except if you'd create your own AI-Ships equiped with this system).

compass should also work (at least it works correct on the two vehilces i just spawned to test it), but i'll have a look into that.

and the display show that my ship drives backward, my compass sensor is heading front.

i set it up, and it dont show me the information from ai ships, is it only when i put this also on a other ship?
