Why can't I shift gears?

I think that three versions on the workshop is going a bit overboard, BUT I can tell you how to do it actually:

-download the latest manual version
-head into the microcontroller
-see the bottom left most lua script? access it
-Now in the script Itself you'll find this line:

local clutch = math.abs(input.getNumber(3)) --manual clutch input

Change that to

local clutch = math.abs(input.getNumber(4)) --manual clutch input

-Now return to the Mc screen with all the connections etc
-see the disconnected Composite read?
-change the read value to 4
-connect it to the same lua script.

Done!

Random thing, but I'd be cool if you made some Semi-Auto versions of the Volvos, I mean I know they didn't make semi-auto's but it'd still be fun, maybe just the manual one with a auto-clutch or something. I'd do it my self but the transmition inside of these cars are a bit to hard for me.

You still do, before, the clutch would disengage when you pressed down the key, and it would re engage when you’d lift the key. But it wouldn’t do it instantly, it went from 0-1 in like a second or something.

Well I changed the last part: The timer is gone and it engages faster or slower depending on the load put on the engine. (a steep hill start vs just shifting between gear 2 and 3 for example)

Ok but if the driver no longer controls it why are the instructions still there?

Ah, I see. No it’s basically the same setup as before, but the clutch doesn’t engage with a fixed timer anymore. It senses the load on the engine!

Oh, didn’t you remove the clutch?

Oh and you can pull it into neutral from first and reverse gear without using any clutch.
