Equivalent Exchange for Starbound
Starbound mod inspired by the Minecraft mod "Equivalent Exchange"
Do this work with 1.4? -> YES
Do this work with FU? --> YES

What does it do?
It adds several "Transmutation tables" to your game.

You can use the "Transmutation tables" to convert items to EMC (A universal alchemical currency) and to convert EMC back to items when need.

Meet the tables:
Mine transmutation table.
Tier 1
Tier 2
Tier 3

Will allow you to study ores and other mining-related stuff obtaining "Mine EMC" in a very efficient way.
Also, once you study enough, you will be able to obtain those items from both "Ore EMC" and "Universal EMC"

Farm transmutation table.
Tier 1
Tier 2
Tier 3

Will allow you to study crops and other farm-related stuff obtaining "Farm EMC" in a very efficient way.
Also, once you study enough, you will be able to obtain those items from both "Farm EMC" and "Universal EMC"

Hunt transmutation table.
Tier 1
Tier 2
Tier 3

Will allow you to study monster drops and other hunt-related stuff obtaining "Hunt EMC" in a very efficient way.
Also, once you study enough, you will be able to obtain those items from both "Hunt EMC" and "Universal EMC"

How to obtain EMC:
You have two main ways of gaining EMC, "Study items" and "Burn items".

Study Items:
Each table has a set of items that you can study there, Studying is the most efficient and powerful way of obtaining EMC.
Also, if you study enough items of the same type, you will finally learn how to use EMC to get that item back!

Burn Items:
For items that you can't study, you can always throw them to the alchemical fire, is much less efficient than Studying, but will work for everything and will give you "Universal EMC", that can be used for anything!

Does the search bar work? Every time I use nothing happens other than me not being able to transmute things until I close and reopen the menu

Could you make a version thats lossy? prices could start at twice their value, and go down to be almost the same as their value as you research similar items of higher tiers.

im having a bit of an issue...

of course im only discovering this because atm my mouse is double clicking or im starting to have doubled action computer problems

but because of such, i go to study, and it accidentally double clicks the arrow to quick pass into the machine, causing more than four items to transfer in, that fifth or so item being lost to time unable to be found again

perhaps is there a way to limit that sort of thing?

Could you add a patch to make the conversions inefficient?

So if something costs 10, recycling it will only give 4.

Hey, all of a sudden, my farm table's stopped working. I can't transmute anything, I've lost all of my researched items, and its just 4 basic crops and a selection that says "replace me". Any idea what I should do?
