WW Furnishing

Wisteria Whiskers Furnishing is a mod that adds a large portion of furnishing goods, from sofas to kitchen cabinets, we have all kinds of objects and trinkets to make your builds feel more homey, meaning the direction of the mod focuses on home decoration aspects. Sometimes we will add a fun thing here and there that might not be furniture but the purpose usually will still be leaning on the aesthetic or fun aspect rather than practical for gameplay. An example of these are the drinks our bars provide, they’re meant to be a playful feature that allows players to add their fun concoctions in our mod, but was born from our team’s love for the visual novel VA-11 HALL-A.




The way WW Furnishing works is by adding items to the game, not modifying existing items or depending on other mods, meaning that this mod is stand-alone and compatible with most mods, Frackin’ Universe included. However, there can be the odd issue coming our way.

On that note, blocks. WW Furnishing also contains blocks meant to be used as wallpapers, some blocks come in matching colors to be able to make your own patterns for walls but this also means we have reserved a number of block IDs to support them, IDs being: 351-356, 361-402, 406, 477. For more information on what material IDs are being used and by whom, you can check the starbounder wikipedia under the page ‘Modding:Materials:Mods’.




Once installed, to be able to access the regular furniture vendors versions you need access to the Engineer’s Table (the 2nd tier of the Inventor’s Table), we currently have 2 furniture vendors holding the 30+ furniture themes we have. Beware that, since we now have 2 vendors and the themes are organized by alphabetical order, once vendor Loreleine (cat girl) can’t hold a theme, it will be moved on to Bailey (bunny girl) so rest assured that x theme is not gone, just sold by someone else.

However, we do have different versions of our vendors and extras added, to have access to these you must travel to the WW District.




This place is an instance added in a version released back in April 14th, 2020. The instances is mainly a shopping hub dedicated to our mod thus showcases various items but also gives you access to the following:

× Different versions of the furniture vendors.
× Exclusive version of the bar featuring Izzy’s novakid character Wisteria.
× Different version of the Wallpaper kiosk that features Izzy as the vendor.
× Clothing kiosk that features Heley as the vendor.
× Different version of the sign selling machine as a screen.
× Neonscape Terraformer that gives you access to the instance’s unique parallax.

These are all sold at a screen on the wall that says “Misc Items Sale” between the wallpaper and furnishing kiosks and you can buy that screen itself in that same vendor, giving you access to all of these anywhere, anytime.

How to travel to the WW District:
Starbound’s Outpost features a secret room underneath the chunk of meteor-land, you can reach it by going all the way to the left and Spike Ball your way the underside until you hit the secret room, an original easter egg placed by Chucklefish development team. When interacting with the Cargo Crate in there you will find a ‘WW Teleporter’ item, use it to reach the WW District and then bookmark the teleporter to return anytime from your ship.

Alternatively, if you find this too tedious and/or prefer to spawn the item, while in admin mode use the command /spawnitem with the object’s name ID ‘ww_teleporter’ and to spawn a terraformer use the ID ‘ikn_terraformerneonscape’.

From Izzy: I'm grateful to rare_candy_bracelet/AsPerrUsual for the encouragement to work on making this mod and Ishveth as well for all of her work as the programmer and her patience. At first, I believed I'd never have the time to work or maintain such a big project as this mod is, knowing nothing of coding myself I just couldn't think of doing it, but at some point, the ideas kept coming in and I ended up dragging my best friend along in this ride.
